The players, my staff and I gave it our all every single day

Every single day? Is this a joke? If you and the players had have done it even 2 days week we wouldn't be in the mess we are.

I mean there's the countless games where you didn't show up let alone the days where the players were given holidays in international breaks. Is that giving it your all every single day?

a group of great players full of ability and character, and special owners.

Some of them have ability for sure, ability levels where we shouldn't be in a relegation battle. Character? I don't know how he can publish such drivel. Without a doubt the most spinless set of characters you could assemble.

Rodgers literally takes our biggest weaknesses and just spins them 180.

It's why we're in this mess in the first place.

Good riddance.

Course I do, because the same people post the same thing and it's so boring.

RE forgetting - I was talking about posts I've seen already "his football made Puel's look good", people forget how bad the football was under Puel, Shakespeare and Ranieri's second season. We went about 6 games without even scoring under Ranieri but I just see "this [under Rodgers] is the worse I've seen us". Get a grip.

Qualifying for Europe, through league position may I add, something we've done in our history how many times? Once before? But people look at the "we should have finished 4th" aspect, and of course it was a disapointment we didn't finish 4th but finishing 5th is equally a great achievement and I believe won't be done again.

He did fvck things up in the end, not helped by the players too who should take some responsibility. But you won't hear from them, they don't have to come out and justify their pathetic performances. Rodgers trusted too many players who are not good enough and no doubt will be (hopefully) moved on when we hire an adequate manager. "Only cared about himself" is such a boring post that I refer to above, it's like a default response because people don't actually know any other way to criticise.

Anyway, it's over now, it's Leicester City FC and it's hopefully onwards and upwards.

Oh god yeah, people come out with some ridiculous stuff about him but I think that's purely down to frustration and the here and now rather than forgetting about the good/better times.

I don't actually hold the final day collapses against him as much as many, despite how frustrating they were. It's what followed the cup win for me.

Brendan thanks for the European adventures the FA cup win and Community shield win, but unfortunately you’re Delusional to think you would have kept us up when many players have given up on you like you did to them especially after the forest game when you threw them under the bus !

The amount of times he has come out after a game and said "The players didn't do enough of XYZ in the first half.....start with the right intensity.......protect the ball well enough in the first half...." etc yet the following game same again, are they ignoring your instructions, are they not clear enough or are they too complex for the level of players at the club? It didn't look a thing of unity or100% anything as time and time again the same disparity appeared between what you say you've asked them to do and what they're actually doing, something was broken there, something wasn't working, I'd like the explanation or frustration around that issue mentioned not one of we were all cosy and on the same page.

He's like the ex that keeps texting after you've broken up.

If all I got was on text the Tuesday after I'd probably guess she wasn't that bothered

I am quite surprised he so openly admits he was sacked in the statement. Don't get me wrong, we all know he blatantly was.

But I've heard a few of his arse lickers in the media trying to even spin the mutual consent line along with stuff like he did as much as he can with what he had. It wouldn't have suprised me at all for Brendan to have put something like "both parties felt it was time".

I agree, it's not been good for a while but if we hadnt have won the prem he would be be the greatest manager in our history based on our league positions and cup final win. So it's easy to say good riddance but trust me there have been many, many worse managers at our club.

It makes you sick doesn’t it. ‘Ohh he wasn’t sacked, he left by mutual consent’ as if to say that it was him who decided to call it a day because he overachieved here yet he’s been shite for over a year now.
