I don't think as many as we think will be sold, I'd expect Barnes/Maddison to go obviously and Tielemans, but if no one puts the money up for the likes of Prae, Daka and Kel I'd expect them to stay.

After the defensive side of the squad I think we will see a massive overhaul. KDH will be the one player that will remain and could possibly be given the armband tbf but other than that it’s a complete rebuild. No way does Barnes stay. Daka, Ndidi, Soumare, Nacho, Maddison and even possibly Vardy go to reduce the wage bill. Even Kristiansen might get some interest, can’t see him wanting to stick around. Mendy, Amartey, Soyuncu, Evans, Bertrand, Tielemans out of contract so reduces the wage bill even more. 
 

Just goes to show how big it will be for us to stay in the league. Whether we stay up or go down, the rebuild must start this summer. Top needs in invest seriously else we risk dropping into the unknown.

Faes has just broken into the Belgian national side. I don't think he's all that tbh but there's no way he stays if we go down.

I don’t think as many would go as some people think. Madders, Söyüncü and Tielemans are off anyway. Barnes would go if we went down, as would Praet and Castagne for cut price fees.
 

Can see some loyalty from Justin and Pereira given the lengthy contracts they’ve received whilst injured. Ndidi and Iheanacho would go, but think Daka might stay. Not sure anyone would would take a punt on Soumaré so maybe loaning him out is the best we could hope for. Amartey, Evans, Bertrand and Mendy gone when they’re contracts up. And tear Vestergaard’s contract up
 

All in all not sure if it’s good, or a damning indictment of where we are that pretty much our entire defence would likely stay with us should we go down. At least Thomas wouldn’t need a loan. But we would need a pretty much new midfield/ wingers. Probably  6/7 signings needed

Barnes would be a fantastic addition to any club in the Prem.

 

Iheanacho would get snapped up for a solid premier league side (a West Ham, Wolves type).

 

Reckon Daka could stay, and Souttar and Kristiansen as they knew what they were getting into and haven’t been here 5 minutes.
 

Justin, I reckon getting back to fitness will keep him with us.

 

Obviously all speculation as we don’t know about wages and finances and what interest there’d be but maybe, being positive in terms of some of the names who could stay (obviously other names are ones we’d be stuck with).

I wouldn't be surprised if half the team ends up being made up of youth players (Will Alves, Sammy Braybrooke etc.) as we will have to massively balance the books when we go down. Barnes, Maddison, Daka, probably Kel, all sold. 6-7 players leave on a free. 

 

It could be exactly what we need squad wise / refresh... and for Top to either sell up or realise he needs to a grip of this club, like his father did. 

If we then make the right appointment, we could come back up with some momentum and get the feel good factor back. If we don't go straight back up, then it could be post 2013/14 Leicester again for a while.

No way kdh goes. Not got the profile or  the previous form unlike say ndidi to appeal to any current pl side and any promoted championship side will have midfielders as good if not better than him. If we give him away that leaves us with literally no midfielders. He's one of the few current starters who I'm convinced will stay.

Wages will be an issue…. We will unfortunately have to get rid of most of the playing squad. We could gamble and keep players and try to go straight back up, but if we don’t we will 100% breach the FFP regulations, and end up in an even bigger mess. The club won’t take such risks, unless the high earners are willing to take pay cuts, we won’t be able to keep them. 
 

Don’t forget the off the field running costs are far too much for a championship club, so major changes will have to happen to just function as an organisation.

The parachute payments will simply cover the loss of revenue. Let’s not forget we’re operating on a much larger scale that any other club in this relegation fight. And with the project of the stadium expansion to add there’s a lot of funding to find with a lot less revenue coming in. 
 

You also can’t have the kind of wage infrastructure we have in the championship, that alone will breach their financial regulations surely?

Vardy's not going to retire, he's got a year left on his contract and we owe him 7.25 million quid. The players will hold the club to their contracts, so we must hold them to them as well. Kristiansen can't just walk away and go to another club.
