Couldn't even remember when the ball was in the box. So weird.

From their corner, and then the shot from outside the area which I guess was the block in question.

Who da Fcuk was wearing Soumares shirt today?! He was immense. MOTM by a mile.

KDH was worse than a man down when he came on.

It was like peak Jonah Lomu in the second half.

Weirdly, he played exactly like Rodgers always said he was capable of - just Brendan was never able to unlock that from him

Wow. Immense. What a match!

We didn't make it easy, but a well deserved win.

I thought Söyüncü was outstanding, man of the match for me. He led the team at the end urging the backline forward towards the half way line.

Wtf was Rodgers on sidelining him? Criminal!

Soumare too was very good, able to move the ball forward, rather than forcing him to try and be a defensive midfielder.

I missed the Bournemouth game as I was away lucky me. But this was a breath of fresh air. Though of course being Leicester, we did make hard work of it!

A good atmosphere at the game, but it was stressful cheering them on and an incredible cathartic release when we scored!

A hard fought and well deserved victory which I think will strengthen the players fragile  confidence.

I thought KDH still looked short of form and confidence. He can press, but everything else is a struggle for him currently.

Iheanacho just makes the ball stick up front. And what balls of steel to put away that penalty!

Söyüncù and Faes looked ok together. I think the goal we conceded exposed the gap between midfield and our defence, which was addressed with the half time substitution.

Whilst Kristiansen remains raw, he showed his positivity and worth in the winning goal.

Now we truly do have a chance, and confidence we can save our season.

Best I’ve seen Soumare all season. Loving having Cags back in the fold. Youri was decent at times too.

A few negatives though (It’s FT after all):

KDH’s fitness levels seem very off compared to last season.

Daka still soft as wet tissue.

Not world class by a long stretch but much better.

I've been a critic of Soumare and dreaded seeing him start, seeing wolves players bounce off him was reminiscent of the man city Charity shield game where they couldn't get the ball off him.

My criticism may be because he was playing how brendan wanted him too.

I actually say he go faster than a jog too and he got us all the way from our half to their box, where the F did that come from?

Much better but not world class.

Tielemans is so obviously done here its frightening, let him stay on the bench and work with his agent to get his move.

I think the problem with Soumare is that he was poorly suited to Rodgersball, as was Ndidi. Soumare isn't really a DM who then passes sideways. Both him and Mendy are better at picking up the ball, moving with it and passing forwards.

Some poor finishing today from Nacho and Daka, but they were getting opportunities that we haven't seen in months. Both can finish well when on form, and need to regain that confidence, as indeed does Vardy. Daka isn't really suited to playing wide, nor Nacho as a sole striker. I think we need a formation with two up front when playing them.

We looked better with 3 in midfield rather than 4 strikers, but on the other hand it was Vards that got the penalty.

Hopefully Maddison and Barnes back for Everton if not for Leeds.

Great Escape 2 on the cards hopefully.

Soumare maybe has a future here afterall, play like that in the remaining games he will be massive for us. Question is will he and can he? We'll see. Also big shout out to Soy, absolutely sauce since he came back... The missing ingredient for sure, shame the anti-chef Brendan didn't see it. Oh well .. up the foxes! 2023/4 prem champions elect. ;-p where's old Ranieri?

Rodgers needs locking up for life for his treatment of Soyuncu, war crime.

HE PLAYED AMARTEY OVER HIM FOR MONTHS

Playing Amartey and Ward over Soyuncu  and Iverson is an absolute dereliction of duty.

That's the double over Wolves and if we do the same on Tuesday against Leeds I wonder when was the last time we achieved the double in consecutive games.

No doubt someone will know.

At the start of the season, the team at this stage of the season could have been anticipated as being

Ward

Perreira  Evans Fofana Justin

Ndidi

Tielemans KDH

Maddison, Vardy,  Barnes

Of these only Tielemans  and Vardy started.  Only subs Ndidi and KDH finished the game.  Castagne could have been in instead of Perreira.

It's been a weird season.

I thought our start 11 wouldn't work.   Turns out Smith and Co did a cracking job today.
