Anyone else absolutely shit themselves when they checked the penalty for them on VAR?

Wolves players didn't appeal at all, then suddenly they started appealing when the ref was checking lol

I'd have been pissed off if it was the other end and not given by today's rules tbh

Soumaré & Söyüncü. We knew one had it in him and now, cross fingers, this game will be the making of the other.

To paraphrase Arthur Wellesley, in most of the of the  words he used after Waterloo, this will be a close run thing - yet, if Dean & Co. can convince them that they're still capable of being the feared and respected team they were before the Rodgers' rot took hold, our fate will still be in our hands, and not down to other teams and the final statistics.

I saw Top breathing a deep sigh of relief at the end. It's obvious his heart is in the right place - I just wonder about his decisiveness.

Disagree with the overly negative criticism of KDH, thought he had a bit of zip back in his game today.

Ok he was a bit sloppy in possession but he was winning the ball back high up the pitch and was giving good options in advanced areas.

I’d play him on Tuesday.

I think soumare has the ability to up his game, I'm still not sure that KDH can. Yeah he was Luton's poty, that could be the highest level he can shine. Still not convinced.

How novel - a manager who openly and simply praises his players.

Enjoyed the twist in the second half of the video n all

I actually trust what he says too. He saw it wasn't working and changed it too, rather than that stubborn twat and his brendanball

Couldn't even remember when the ball was in the box. So weird.

It’ll never catch on. Rodger’s would have been asking when the 47 was due so he could put someone under it.

It’s not blame game it’s pointing out flaws and stupid errors time and again which they are making.  This isn’t primary school participation trophy, don’t worry about being relegated and the club losing a lot of money you all tried your best.

Daka was useless, missed several sitters and ran back from attack to make a stupid foul at the edge of the box, just like at Crystal Palace.  Made a lot of fouls and too weak on the ball.

Faes made a short, slow pass from far back to Youri who couldn’t control it as he was being pressed.  They scored, just like at Bournemouth and I would say around 50% of the goals we have conceded this seasons.

KDH is useless, I can’t recall anything coming off that he attempted. He missed a sitter from 4 yards out, like at Brentford.

Soy was great, Faes made the stupid error but then was solid.  Nice to see Castagne pushing up into the attacking position and finishing confidently, Defensively he drifts to the centre too often and leaves a lot of space.

VK was good and showed what he can do in attack without Daka and KDH stinking it out.

Soumare was good driving forward but still just wandered around watching players pass him.  Youri was so sloppy with his backwards and sideways passing.

Iverson made some good saves but his release of the ball is too slow.

Every player makes mistakes including all the Wolves players. We cannot expect everybody to be in top form , we are a struggling team. However as long as they are giving all they have at the present time , we should get behind them. As a club we cannot and probably never will have flawless players.

I think the lack of appeal affected the decision.

Consider the decisions awarded against us previously, for consistency sake I thought it was a penalty.  Interesting how the dynamics of the game affect these decisions.

Some hard lessons learnt, I suspect. I just hope it's not at the expense of the wider club.

I sense the massive relief and I understand the massive anger at what went before.

I hope for every single one of us that the team can survive, and the club and the fanbase can move on.

I feel like today was massive. This team are more than good enough to survive. We needed a bit of luck but most importantly today we played with authority.

Fcking ell. What a great day but jeez, we had

Daka, Wilf, the absolutely abysmal Tete, KDH and an untrustworthy (albeit very good) Soumare all on at the same time. That is honking. I thought I'd die of stress.

Goes to show how poor Rodgers has been with his coaching.

He coached Soumare into a player devoid of fight and confidence.

He banished Soyuncu.

These two were worldclass today.

Not world class by a long stretch but much better.

I've been a critic of Soumare and dreaded seeing him start, seeing wolves players bounce off him was reminiscent of the man city Charity shield game where they couldn't get the ball off him.

My criticism may be because he was playing how brendan wanted him too.

I actually say he go faster than a jog too and he got us all the way from our half to their box, where the F did that come from?

Much better but not world class.

Tielemans is so obviously done here its frightening, let him stay on the bench and work with his agent to get his move.

Ok but the mistakes I have pointed out they have been doing all season.  When does something stop becoming a simple mistake and is just a short coming in ability?

Great to win finally but let’s not kid ourselves, we are a mistake we keep making away from a loss.

Blimey, after the interview, they've really livened up the Tunnel Cam footage.

It used to be just a procession of smiling players with sports bags but now it's WW3 in the changing rooms...

Possibly the biggest impact of sacking Rodgers has been Smith’s acceptance of Cags and re-introducing him to the team. Today, he was fantastic.
God knows how such a good player as Soyuncu will be walking out of the club on a free in the summer. It shows just how badly we’ve been run for a long time.

The best part of that victory was how happy the players were to have won the game. It shows how motivated Smith has got them.

And respect to the crowd today, who saw us over the line.

Now we have beat Leeds. We should. They are rubbish.

Great day for LCFC today.
