Don't be annoyed at players for successfully taking advantage of lax refereeing. Be annoyed at referees for lax refereeing.

Spot on re Henderson. It’s now become his only contribution to any game. And he never gets booked for it. Just like Fabinho the clogger never gets booked for being the dirtiest player in the league.

Except it's a sport with millions on the line, and competitive advantage is worth gaining (and isn't against the actual law).

 

The frustrating part is when the law isn't administered consistently, and when your team doesn't take advantage.
