Kudos to the 20%. I feel it’s unlikely and voted no. But there is still a remote chance. We are shit but so are others are they worse? A few weeks will tell.

I still have the hope that we'll somehow not be down on the final day and a result could keep us save, but the performance (admittedly I didn't see the game) was so concerning, like they have given up and can't be bothered, I just have no faith that we've got the capability of getting a result, even when we get breaks (penalties) we don't take them, we start games too slowly and how do we ever expect to get results if we consistently concede first time, pretty well every time and cannot stop conceding goals. It's just like you expect - and I posted this in the Fulham pre match thread - eventually on the law of averages, as Everton did at Brighton, everything goes right, everyone puts in 8/10s your opponents play terribly and you get that win that galvanises the club, but the big difference is that Everton have the hunger, the desire and the determination to not go down and from what I have seen so far this season, we do not and it concerns all aspects of the club. We've drifted to this position all season - the board did not show the hunger to survive by sacking Rodgers when given plenty of time and opportunities and the players are not showing the hunger in the main to get out of this situation.

Forest won’t beat Chelsea, defensively they are dreadful, so Chelsea will have a field day in front of goal.

It’s not inconceivable for us to get something against Liverpool either…. We are the definition of from the sublime to the ridiculous. 

So based on your assumptions it'll be:

 

Everton 3 Man City 2

Chelsea 0 Forest 2

Leeds 3 Newcastle 1

 

Leicester 0 Liverpool 3😮

The problem is now we are in the relegation zone we need at least 2 points to get out. I think Everton will pick up 2-3 points from their games and Forest will pick up 1-3 points. So really we need between 4-6 points. 
 

I think we will lose all 3 games and the only hope we have is to get a point at Liverpool or Newcastle and then win at a “on the beach” West Ham.

 

I think we have a 10% chance tops.

When it comes to the West Ham game - yes, they are safe and have nothing to play for, but lets not forget that we are atrocious atm and on top of that no-one will want to risk an injury with one foot out the door.

 

Ironically it will probably be 0-0 and completely irrelevant whet happens in the other games as we will be thrashed by both Liv and Newcastle.

It’s more the fact that you just can’t trust this side to not shoot themselves in the foot. Even if we somehow are winning in the final 15 v Liverpool, we will find a way to **** it up. Same with any game. That and they are all scared kids. If we are still in it come West Ham then you never know but we can’t handle seemingly any pressure so … no I have Noo hope but still today was hoping. 😂

The missed penalty agasint Everton was always the turning point.

 

That's goes in we win the game, Everton have one less point and go in the Brighton game in a different mood.

There's no team in the PL worse than us right now!  Others around us have shown some fight and resilience.

We've got too many liver lily'd players....

That's not happened much this season and I doubt they'll be running through a well organised and confident side , that have shown they have the fight to remain in the top flight

Theres is no way on this planet Pep will sacrifice anything for anything….. they’re on track to win the treble? A manager as ambitious as him will not tell the lads to “sack off Everton” to focus on the CL. Never in a million years, they will go for the lot. 
 

Forest, a well organised side? The same well organised side that conceded 3 goals to Southampton? Forest will not beat Chelsea at Stamford bridge, they comfortably dispatched Bournemouth recently, and Forest will be all gung go and leave massive gaps for Chelsea to walk into. 
 

Everton are likely to pick points up at Wolves, but Forest won’t pick any points up until the last day and Leeds stand a chance of not picking anything up either. 
 

It’s going down to the last game, only Southampton will be officially relegated by then. The likely outcome is all three of us go into the final on 33 points. Which is pretty much what I think will happen.

I'm still clinging on for a miracle, but the last few games have been a real kick in the teeth. I hadn't lost hope that in one of these games something would click and give us a small chance but that Fulham game really proved that isn't gonna happen, these players don't give a sh*t. To not turn up for a game like that is completely unforgivable. 

 

I'm certain we're not getting anything from the next 2 games, it will be more about protecting goal difference. So I think it comes down to Chelsea v Forest this weekend, If Forest get anything from that game, it's over and i'll start thinking about some nice away days in the Championship. If they lose, they will almost certainly lose to Arsenal too. So then there will be something to play for on the last day at least. 

 

I'm not getting my hopes up for Everton, I think that Brighton game was huge for them. Yes they will probably lose this weekend, but with Wolves and Bournemouth to play you'd expect them to win one of those.

I very much doubt ,we'll have 33 points going into the last game, but I'd certainly take that.

I think we've got to hope to get 1 point from our next 2 and hope Leeds and Forest lose their next 2.

 

Unless there's an incredibly improved Leicester side against Liverpool and Newcastle and there's not much to suggest it will happen,  I think we'll go into the West Ham game on 30 points.

We are down, but hope is a cruel mistress.

 

If Newcastle beat Leeds, as you’d expect, Man City beat Everton, as you’d expect, and Chelsea beat Forest, as (I think) you’d expect, then I guarantee you that hope will start to rear its head again on Monday.

All of a sudden there will be talk of Liverpools away form and the fact we beat them last season. There will be talk of “now or never” and the atmosphere inside the ground will reflect that. 

 

That is until 25 minutes in when we are 3-0 down and it all just simply hurts again.
