Still plans to improve the stadium. We not going to loose all of our players. We’re in a great position to re-build. I am biased and I do have a positive mindset on my club, but I am also aware this was a massive wake up call for us. I believe given our history, we will fix this and be back to our best given we make the correct decisions in the short term.

Almost a blank sheet to start with so he can bring his own type of player in along with the biggest budget (probably by some distance) in the Championship. Most of the reason that he failed at Chelsea was because Bohley was playing football manager and signing everyone he could. We may have to offer him a big say in which players come in. I am not too sure Rudkin would be happy with that scenario. I’m sure I speak on behalf of many when I say I couldn’t give a frogs fat arse about how he feels after what he’s done.

He's actually got a 100% management record with the foxes.. well won 2 out of 2. Not sure he'd been the man for us, but he might be on Rudkin's list. Plus Appleton may have applied. Also I believe he's last game in charge was 4-1 win for Blackpool against Forest... see he may already be popular

This ownership could set us back years and when I set us back, to a position worse than where we were before the previous ownership structure under Vichai. Neglect and business never ends well. 1

Need to sort out the manager spot, and then get them to focus on what’s needed, when we’ve established who’s going, and how much we have. Signing people for the sake of it, is just poor business

The sooner people accept that situation, the sooner we can get back to rebuilding our club and re-establishing everything that's been lost through the awful mismanagement of recent years. 3

We've changed head of recruitment, we've changed the medical team and now we've changed manager. Absolutely, but it's scary if they believe that's what's caused all of this. That doesn't account for the average wage being £94k a week, it doesn't account for the refusal to sell fringe players last summer unless teams matched our unrealistic transfer fees despite us having to sell to buy (their words). It doesn't account for getting in to the situation where players ran their contracts down to leave on frees to the tune of £100m + million. It doesn't account for going the whole summer with Schmeichel and Fofana when they knew they were off. It doesn't account for having absolutely no plan for life after Rodgers, not after 7 games of the season, not after the free fall after the World Cup, not after the continual hurtle to the bottom 3 until April. It doesn't account for seemingly having no plan for the possibility of relegation as we cemented ourselves in to the bottom 3 either. One of my favourite bug bears though, that is pretty damning on us not learning our lesson when it comes to finances is offering Jack Harrison £100k a week on transfer deadline day. Wreckless and feckless. So I'll make no apologies for having absolutely no patience for this lot any longer. I am able to appreciate the good but I can also separate it from the astonishingly bad and make a judgement call that there's very little sign of change and I don't think they deserve to take us forward any longer. 22

But we do have all the foundations of a premier league club, do you not agree? We have a training ground which is fit for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Man City to share quite comfortably. We have plans to extend our stadium to a capacity we’d struggle to fill at our current level. Without the income to maintain both extravagant pieces of infrastructure. Foundations ? We’ve lost our medical team, we lost many within our scouting team, we’ve lost our FD and recruited within (always ends well), we have no manager. We are about to lose our entire squad. Do not get me started on the capabilities of our board and in particular DOF. A struggling youth program. So no, we don’t have the foundations of a premier league club and it’s naive to think we have and that many others in the PL are years above us and many in the championship are overtaking (if they haven’t already) regarding the other departments in our set up. But yeah, seagrave is big. 6
rgarner93 Posted 14 June 2023 Posted 14 June 2023 Speaking to my Dad a few weeks back and he suggested offering the job to JT. I know he's unproven at this stage as a manager and we might want someone with a track record but he's a highly rated coach and he'll knows the players/staff. I thought this was an interesting suggestion and might be worth a go if there are no other options...

Guest Mee-9 Posted 14 June 2023 Posted 14 June 2023 A big mess up is the fact that the appointment of a new manager could be used as a marketing tool for getting a few more renewals.
