Its not even 2 from 2 to stay up is it?

It STILL heavily depends on the others.

This. If you watch the interview he seems downhearted. He's just stating facts.

His demeanour says even he knows it's not going to happen.

Thats a horrible watch. He is devastated. He knows what they need to do, but he also knows they aren't going to do it.

We all know vardy has been on the decline but for me that's expected given his age. I love this man and it pains me to see him look defeated.

Jamie, we do need two wins to stand a chance and i can't see that happening. Having said that we all wish that miracle happens if it means staying up.

Sigh, still holding out hope. Would love to see you at least get another goal or few though.

2 in 2? We’ve won 8 games all ****ing season. Saw some silly **** filming the players in the warm up yesterday for the social media team. Most of them will be redundant by September so at least we won’t have to put up with delusional headlines like this soon.

Vardy says we need to 2 from 2 to give ourselves a chance. He knows. He gets it.

May I suggest that we try and actively attack the opposition for more then 15-20 minutes in a game. Trying to score goals might help us,

That’s not the issue, we are 10th in the league for goals scored, Man Utd in 4th have only scored 2 more then us, the issue is the other end we are 18th in the league for goals conceded

I originally thought this too, but have since had a look back at the results, and changed my mind. We scored 4 in wins against Forest, Wolves, Villa and Spurs. 3 came in vain against Fulham. That's 19 of our 49 goals in just 5 games. So we've scored just 30 goals in the other 31 games. I believe we've scored 1 or less in 21 games. That's just not going to cut it in the PL.

I don’t want to hear “until it’s mathematically possible “ bollocks. They’ve had 36 games to get enough points. We are laughable and no wonder others fans are taking the piss.

At least forest have shown some bottle and spirit. We have neither of them. Shameful

Spoken like a man who sees his time at the club ending in ignominy and humiliation . I hope he’s remembered for his brilliant previous record here and not tarnished by association with the current load of bell ends

The social media coverage is baffling. I know they’re probably just doing what they’ve been told, but there’s no reading of the room going on.

He at least has played with some fire in his belly when called upon to start in the last few months. Him and Kels some of the few players who might come out of this season relatively less tarnished

Anything could still happen, but it's looking more and more likely only one thing will.

I'm at a point where I'm starting to embrace the thought of relegation. Hopefully top strips the club back from top to bottom and starts the ultimate rebuild and only one man can be trusted with such a job :pearson:

If going down means we will be going after Pearson then I’m all for it

Yeah, let's just try and win both of our remaining matches and stay up then.

Makes sense.

Should have thought of that earlier then we could have finished much higher.

Its all a load of nonsense, all too late.

Its losing to Southampton twice, Bournemouth twice, losing to Forest, drawing at home to Everton etc etc that have cost us.

Spinless performances through the whole season
