The bookies would have this as everton staying up. Most of us would too.

But this is football and the permutations we need are quite capable of happening.

Its great to have an opportunity at least.

Its such ashame we didn't beat Everton a few weeks back and be in driving seat though.

Can’t see Bournemouth getting anything here, they will just fold. Especially if the crowd are up for it.

I don't get why some on here seem to say that Toffees don't need to win. Surely if Everton draw and Foxes win, it doesn't matter what Greeds do, Leicester have the better goal difference?

My concern is not that Foxes can't win. Have I been going to Bournemouth since 1963? - yes. Do I love Bournemouth? - yes. Do I trust lowly-but-safe Bournemouth not to lose to a desperate Everton? No...

(Double negatives rule :)  ) .

So if they draw and you win it will mean you stay up ?

Be a lot of pressure on Everton to get an early goal I feel.

You will be rueing that late equaliser by Everton at Wolves even more now .

Our point yesterday means that goal is irrelevant now- only way that would have come into play is if we'd lost at Newcasle and they would have only needed a draw against Bournemouth.

No way will Bournemouth get anything at Everton. They'll be 'on the beach' so to speak. Absolutely nothing to play for.

Can jump two places in the league if other results go their way.

Hope you survive. About time Everton were relegated.  I can vividly recall ourselves thrashing Everton last game of 1997/8 season to clinch the title, they only evaded the drop because Bolton had a worse goal difference. If we won 9-0 they would have gone! 😂

Everton have only scored 15 goals at home Bournemouth only 17 away. Bournemouth have also lost the last 3 games.

Bournemouth results in the North West this season.

Liverpool 9 Bournemouth 0

Man Utd 3 Bournemouth 0

Man City 4 Bournemouth 0

Going for a 0-0. And us to win 2-1 We are staying up :scarf:

Exactly. So many on the post match thread saying Everton 'must win' which is bollocks.

From their point of view they must. They can hardly coast to a draw assuming we won't win. Obviously they might be able to stay up without winning, but they won't know whether that's the case until it's all over.

Another week of seeing videos of Everton fans letting off fireworks outside of hotels. They'll stay up and we'll have to be subjected to it all again next year. Horrid fanbase.

So, I’ve slept and am now thinking a little more rationally….

Yesterday could work in our favour…… the pressure is firmly on Everton. We’re talking as if they’re prime Barcelona here, they aren’t, they are on the verge of relegation. They have key players out, and a lot hinges on DCL, and if he plays he clearly isn’t going to be fit.

There’s a take over coming, which is likely to cast doubt into a lot of players minds, we think our lads don’t care, there’s a chance this could have a psychological impact on some of them.

Dyche, he’s been in this situation before, but am I correct in thinking he has overseen Burnley Relegated twice? So there’s pressure on him too.

I do think there’s an incentive sometimes for some teams, Bournemouth would probably want to relegate Everton given the chance, so I think they will turn up.

To cut a long story short, Everton have a tonne of pressure on them, the expectation is they will win, the fans will expect them to win, and the players might just go into the game expecting the same. One slip up early doors and the pressure could come piling on tops of them. You can’t rely on 90+ minutes goals all of the time.

For us there’s no pressure, it’s out of our hands. So we know we just need to try and win, but if Everton do, then that’s that.

I’ve got a feeling Everton won’t handle the pressure, there’s too much going on at the club off the field, too many injuries and a lot of uncertainty.

I sent my uncle down there to live. He’s a massive Foxes fan. Is it an omen?  Probably not.

We have the small matter of beating West Ham. Which I think we will. Come on.

Well if that doesn't motivate them then nothing will! 🤣

As much as the crowd can lift they can also cause problems.

Not saying Everton won't win, but you do see teams crumble in these situations.
