Progresses the play too much for Southgate. It would mean he'd only be able to start 7 defensive players instead of the usual 8

Had seen the rumoured knock for the first game, but they'd expected him to play the second.

Just seen the Kalvin Phillips stucking the middle one up at West Ham fans who were abusing him as he got on the team bus.

 

I guess he probs aint playing for them again.

 

 

More importantly, in a world where people pretend to care about Men's mental health, can the fans who dislike him playing for them (and I agree it isn't working) not just roll their eyes and tut, rather than screaming abuse?

Like we do with match officials, our players, our manager, our DoF, our chairman etc. It's a game full of emotions and we all take it way too far.
