Makes sense and should of happened when Seagrave opened.

Complete waste of money having Belvoir drive when weve got a new training ground with about 329 pitches.

Providing it doesn’t end up ****ing the womens team over then I’m all for it…too many stories from other clubs of women’s sides ending up training at ridiculous times to appease the men’s team schedules. Shouldn’t be an issue with the 7 billion pitches and facilities at Seagrave.

LCFC Women - Brace yourselves for injuries.

We signed a player the other year with a broken foot, they came back from injury and then broke a different bone in the same foot right away…we’re made for this 😂

Stick the women on western park

I couldn't give a shat about them

They put in more effort than the men’s team.

I’ve heard from someone in the women’s team that Seagrave is unbelievable in terms of facilities but it’s like going to a private hospital. Lots of clean corridors, closed doors, like you’d see in a clinical setting and no training ground vibes. The year Barnsley got beat in the play offs by Swansea with big Val In charge we were playing corridor cricket outside his office and table tennis in the away changing room, the mood around the club was unbelievable and flowed from one department to the next. I can only imagine that Seagrave is like a hospital waiting room where footballing dreams go to die.

only team at the club who've stayed up and played like they want to stay up this season. send the blokes to train on Nelson Mandela park instead

With a record like that surely the recruitment and medical team should transfer over to working for the men’s first team

Yea and get them to pick up all the dog shit while they’re at it so they can do something useful

I thought that Belvoir drive couldn’t be sold for houses??? I think the top half where the dome is is leased with some years still left which maybe could be developed on, I’ve heard this could be possibly going. But I seem to remember reading years ago the bottom half has some protection status on it saying it has to remain a sports facility if sold.

Maybe they’ll build a leisure centre to get round it and surround it with houses, or put a basketball court in, or metal table tennis table, or the developers will bribe someone on the council.

Plans are in place to abandon the old Belvoir Drive training ground, the home of Leicester City Women, and replace it with housing. The womens’ team will then be moved to Seagrave.

Is this true?  Can you link the source? That telegraph link has a paywall but the first few lines just seem to be the bog standard relegation post mortem.
