If you look back at the extended highlights, I'm not sure how we didn't score at least 4 more goals! Just now, Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot said: This is basically what Leeds did to us. If they can do it with real consistency they’ll be our closest challengers. Leeds look great against teams that play front foot football. Their fans will tell you they have struggled badly against teams that park the bus, which is why they've dropped a lot of points. The team that is best at playing against low blocks is Leicester, which is why we are top. But it has to be said that teams that have a go at us do cause us trouble. 1
Benji Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Hopefully Ipswich get the next goal otherwise they’ll make a load of early subs for Boxing Day.

Stinkenzo Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Leeds could score a goal to go 8-0 up in the 95th minute and Gary Weaver would still find the energy to scream his script at the top of his voice
EastAnglianFox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Wonder when Ipswich will start making changes and just write this one off

Chrysalis Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 I think unless something crazy happens, its probably too much for ipswich now.
brookfox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 If Daka isn’t already being rested for Boxing Day he probably should be watching this! 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Wow ...... Ipswich got the big wobbles

Clever Fox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich are not coming back from 3-0 down unless they steam roll leeds in the second half.
whoareyaaa Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 It will be between Leeds and Southampton for that 2nd spot, I think we should have enough in us to stay at the top

Exactly Enzo knows, it's not about one game. He is saying to the squad Rotherham is a tough game, he wants them mentally to approach every game like this. If it then turns out to be straight forward you can relax with a lead. If you start games too sluggish, it can then be hard to reverse that pattern. Edited 23 December 2023 by Beachyboy
Guest Kopfkino Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich have completely shit the bed for this game, none of them have turned up and don’t look like they were mentally ready. Clearly there to be got at but they are much better at home than away and the worry is that they’ll be ready to atone for this come Tuesday. Probably the worst way this game could go for us.
StriderHiryu Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Leeds have given us the blueprint of what to do in the Ipswich game. Press the bejesus out of their back line and Morsey and you'll have joy. Leif Davis must have had the worst half of his career! 1
phoneticerror Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 This is exactly what we needed. Big knock to their confidence after today. Could be 9 points clear by the end of Boxing Day if we play our cards right.

It’s the best result for us if we do the job today, all the pressure is on Ipswich they have to attack us and we can hit them on the counter and win the game.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Might have to mute the sound in the 2nd half. Weaver's commentary is making my toes curl.
Super_horns Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 (edited) Rather forgettable half for Ipswich and particularly Davis . Edited 23 December 2023 by Super_horns
ClaphamFox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich leave so much space at the back. We may have to deploy our reluctant counter-attacking skills on Boxing Day, after which Enzo can apologetically assure the world that it’s not really how we like to play. 2
