I like how Spain try to play it wide and get the crosses in.

 

I can't believe how much the quality of womens football has improved over the last few years - night and day

 

And how refreshing to see they don't all roll around on the floor like they've been shot.

Bronze trying to make something happen. Zero movement from anyone else, immediately punished for Bronze being out of position. 

 

England really seem to have frozen. Just lumping the ball up to absolutely nobody and giving possession back to Spain.

Five pressing Bronze when she pushed into midfield. Someone needs to give her an option when she’s pushing forward like that. 
 

We’ve been overloaded and had a massive gap at right back.

For all the ‘the standard is terrible’ dreadful takes, Spain play some very good football which would look out of place in the championship level in men’s football. Obviously not physically as great but skill wise it’s exemplary.
