It's David Brent. It just is, isn't it?

I see Super Cooper's Brondby managed ZERO goals in their final 4 league games, finishing 4th, missing out on any chance of Europe lol

*have been corrected below... still, shocking stats lol

9 games. They lost 1-0 at home against Viborg this past weekend.

Brøndby play today.

Don't think you can get a more arrogant manager than him, even away from the game.

The least of his worries.

Currently 6 games without scoring a goal and 9 games without a win lol

Are they outside the relegation zone?

Another weird European league. Finished in the top section so currently competing for European places, but look set to finish last of that group of teams.

This is incredibly on brand for Brenda. Truly the mark of the man.

Terrible manager, one of the few good decisions we've made in recent years was sacking him quickly. In a way I wish we didn't now though, would have been just as bad as RVN anyway

I think he'll be gone before long. That is a rank statistic to have with Brøndby.
I truly think his saving grace is that they were never likely to finish higher than third - and that FC Copenhagen have had an absolute nightmare Spurs-like season.

It's just the same old tired playbook of his though.

Ben Godfrey and Luis Binks at the back because they were both part of THAT U17 group... and Emmanuel Dennis must be draining wages in that league! (another one of his old boys!)

This is about the only joy I have left.... so please allow it lol

Super Cooper continues his marvelous job in Denmark.

Brondby last won a competitive game on the 9th November 2025, 12 games ago. (scoring 4 goals in those 12 games lollol)

They're currently in the play off phase of the league and have lost 2 in 2. Look destined to miss out on any european comp next season. Also look set to finish on less points than a couple of the teams in the bottom half of the league split.

Not sure how he's still there to be honest.

Cooper sacked by Brøndby. Losing 3-1 to a disastrous Copenhagen side in the Europa League playoff was the final straw. He leaves with a record of 10 wins, 6 draws and 12 defeats, and an average 1.29 PPG (only one manager in the club's history since 1989 had a worse PPG according to transfermarkt)

Brøndby IF terminates cooperation with head coach Steve Cooper and simultaneously hires Julius Ohnesorge as new football director.

The day after the last match of the season, Brøndby IF has chosen to say goodbye to head coach Steve Cooper. On the same day, Julius Ohnesorge has signed an agreement that places him in the chair as the club's new director of football.

Steve Cooper is leaving the club with immediate effect, as is assistant coach Alan Tate.

Cooper was hired as head coach of Brøndby IF in September last year and has since led the team through a period characterized by fluctuating results and performances.

Scott McLachlan, vice chairman of the board of Brøndby IF, explains the decision:

- With the appointment of Steve, we made a choice that we both believed and hoped would lift the club to a new level. It has done so in several aspects, but neither the results nor the performances on the pitch have followed suit. Therefore, today we have chosen to say goodbye to both Steve and Alan.

- We send them on with our great respect and gratitude for their efforts and commitment to the club, concludes McLachlan.
