If memory serves it was done in 2010 on a 10 year contract for £4m for the stadium AND the shirts, which was fair in the Championship at the time but way WAY below fair market value as Champions and a European club.

 

Would prefer this to be a rolling thing per year and a significant increase as per our status.  

They were paying £16m+ a season come the end.

Didn't want to waste much time creating it as i expect it will be released properly soon.

 

But, given the available leaks, and the new sponsor, i'd expect it to look like this.

Why wouldn’t they?

I imagine all PL sponsors have an out in contracts in case of relegation.  Why would they continue to pay as much without the exposure?

They train at a holiday camp remember, it’s like going Butlin’s for a football tournament. They have probably had an hour in the amusements and now waiting for the show to start on the main stage.
