After Wolves signed 2 new center backs i presume he felt there was even less chance he got to play this season if he moved there.

 

I think his main goal is to play as little as possible, so his podcasts and shout a lot in warm ups. For us, real danger Vesty gets phased out again and he has to play.

This is widely reported as failing due to LCFC pulling out. It really is another example of the stupidity of the Board to keep hold of a player for his leadership ability that’s made public his desire to leave

He's been referred to as a leader for 2 years yet barely been played. Like most bench players he probably just wants to go somewhere he's played regularly. If I'd been dropped for Wout Faes I'd have walked to a new club. Didn't do too much wrong in that last spell he played and at least he doesn't just wander off up the pitch like the Belgian Bombscare.

Sounds like a cover story as wolves rejected him again.so did Everton previously. We signed him though because he sat on England's bench and played a few friendlies.

So just to clarify, Coady asked the club to leave a week or so after telling the fans on a podcast that there's real unity at the club and everyone is happy? And he decided to do this... on deadline day? 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, if this is how he leads, I'd rather see us put him in the reserves for 6 months then sell him to league 1 when no prem clubs want him anymore. I really hope I'm wrong at least.

Faes has wanted out for 18 months. 

 

At this point I'd just get Morgan and Huth out of retirement. Even Walsh and Elliott would give it more of a go than these absolute wasters

I'll unretire for a low weekly wage of £10,000 per week. 2.5 year contract.

Nelson and Souttar probably, I don't believe Okoli is home sick either.

 

Hopefully we get rid of Faes, Coady and Vesterguard in the summer.

Another signing plenty on here weren't keen on.  

 

Of our last bad 10 signings the sensible posters wouldn't have signed 8 or 9 of them.

To get any league 1 club even interested we'd have to offer him for free and pay 90% of his wages.

We lack the spine of the team genuinely caring. We had identity with years of Kasper, Morgan, Vardy etc. Its all gone. 

 

This one might belong in the unpopular opinions thread but I don't think Vardy helps at times either. He certainly doesn't have the leadership of a captain, and I feel like he has just as much a chip on his shoulder as anyone when we have a right to complain about the team.
