Add Soumare to that, crazy depth at this level

Not sure if Soumare is Conference level never mind The Championship.

Ridiculous comment given he was one of the best players in a Ligue 1 winning side. Not good for us - for whatever reason - doesn't mean he's suddenly not good enough for professional football.

Can't judge him during his Ligue 1 time.. But can judge him since he's been with us.

.. and on that basis he's absolutely dire!!!

There's clearly a player in there, perhaps not upto PL speed and would be better going back to Europe.

I think he's a very good footballer, but one of the 80% of our squad who got worse under Rodgers.  If those that are left recover half of what they lost under Rodgers, we have the makings of a top half prem team, and I would expect that to be reflected in our results this season.

What would you say he is good at? Players get moved around and made to play in different formations and positions but they can still perform the basics.  Let’s say he was being played out of position, does that forgive his inability to track a player? To watch players run by with the ball and then jog after them? To stand around and watch players line up for shots? To make dangerous passes back to the defence when under pressure?

Honestly the only one I’d want still at LCFC from last season is Kel..

others simply wernt good enough for a relegation scrap and most importantly didn’t have the desire…

why do we still list numerous players that we want to keep when the reality is, they’re all shite

Have commented almost word for word myself multiple times regarding Soumare..

all of the above observations have been so clear for a fan to see..

the guy doesn’t have it from within..you can’t teach a the weaknesses mentioned..

he has no natural instinct.

I don’t want him anywhere near our squad never mind starting 11

He trained with our first team this morning so can’t be that close. Would be a class move for the lad if it happens.

I heard he's that quick he ran back to Seagrave for his medical straight after.

Or he's a timelord!!!

I guess it’s not that close then

Mavididi was still training with Montpellier whilst talks were pretty much done, so it could still be close.

Was at the ground yesterday according to Beyond The 90 (they were right on Coady as well)

You have to feel for him, before signing as well.

Which part of him sustained the injury?

yeah if that was the case for all players who played for us.....then Harry Kane wouldnt be in the premier league for how he was with us

guessing more talks are planned over the weekend, probably next week or the week after confirmed, if its going through
