Mavididi struggled because of the system they were playing and Eccles playing well against him. As soon as Eccles went off and they adjusted their system, he got far more joy. So we have to wait to for the other team to take of a good player so he can play half well 🥴

It doesn't mean that they're "low on confidence" it just means that the person who they were up against had a better game. It happens. 1

Just ignore the fact is was a few (maybe more) years ago....but yeah, all good.... Oh and the goal against Man Utd, that a good clip for YouTube to get you excited....ish Recent stuff - yeah, I'm out. Edited 7 August 2023 by fox_favourite

You’ve had Zaha, and currently have Olise and Eze, both whom are far, far better than Gray. Perhaps Hodgeson can get the best out of him. A few have tried and few have succeeded. He is just an infuriating player, because on his debut he will look great, and then gradually go missing. If he costs you a couple of million, and Roy can get into him, then he could be a bargain! But it’s a gamble, I’d argue Rak-Sakyi is better.

ronnup Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Strange he's not here yet, unless he's undecided. Hope there's other options, guessing the Turk

It's not that unusual. We're in Chumpionship, loans from the Prem of any decent quality are always going to be down the road of the window. Understandably we want a team that's together and cohesive, but we dropped down, need to clear out and there's some key positions we're trying to temp recruit to. There's so much impatience in our support. We're not going to be in any sort of flow until at least late September/early October, and we'll still see some minor shuffling in the squad. We're beggars not choosers, it's a hard pill to swallow, but think our supporters still haven't dawned the change in place at the football table. 2

fox_up_north Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 We're surely the best choice, if he gets guaranteed starts. Plus, there must be some allure to playing under Pep's right hand man and alongside Vardy. 1
