Yeh the stadium is a shed. Rumour is they have killed off the club to get the land sold off for a hotel development that has been blocked for years, then the club will form again.

Either way there’s absolutely no chance it’s due to a lack a funds, that’s a bare faced lie. There’s so much wealth on the island and people love the club. They could have a whip round upstairs on a match day and raise a few hundred k.

I went out with a girl from Jersey and she got a new pair of converse for Easter.

Looking forward to Japan Argentina.

Head says Argentina, heart says Japan, although I'm not sure I'd want to knock the latter out :(

Do hope Japan can do it.

The problem with the Rugby World Cup is that the gap between the top 10 teams in the world and the rest is absolutely massive.

In footballing terms it would be like Spain (current Fifa ranked 10) versus Sri Lanka, which would never happen in the Fifa World Cup.

That's not right is it? England rugby are an usually good tournament team. Regardless of form, England are a complete nightmare to play against, unless it's the final.

What is it? 5 finals?

4 finals, lost 3 of them.

3 QF losses too, it's the semifinals where England seem to specialise.

Also 3 out of the last 4 knockout losses (since 1999) have been to South Africa.

I appreciate they need a week in between matches but the group stage is dragging now lol

As a casual rugby watcher, I  just want to get to the business end of the tournament now.
