We're in a position where for every good purchase we make, we make 4 bad ones. If we sell one of our good purchases in Hermansen then there's a risk that the players funded by his sale are not up to standard.

There appears to be no 'official' news on his situation; just, presumably, guesswork from a few on this forum who think he won't be back until after the Villa game.

 

Reckon he wants to stay at the club until the Summer, as he knows he's getting huge plaudits for his contributions.

Why wouldn’t you sell in January. We are still technically a PL club and Jan does have inflated prices. Depends if Chelsea think getting Mads in gives them a genuine chance of getting the title - I think it would. I mean Mads gives us a chance of getting a few more points but realistically we won’t get enough to stay up now so sell and bring in a good Championship keeper if we can. 
 

Selling after finishing second bottom and desperate for the cash would put us at a further disadvantage.
