Who would want him?

Am sure he could've afforded to terminate his own contract, given his strong desire to leave the club.

He’d never do that. I’m sure he’s smug as shit being the highest earner in the Championship.

The bloke is poison. Yet we pander around him as fans and the club. We should publicly shame him, a manager with b*ll*cks would say. Yes he is the highest earner in the squad and his attitude is disgusting. Unless his attitude changes he will not be playing for the club.

Have to agree.

I've said it before, usually I'd admire the clapping of players. I used to relentlessly be optimistic in the stands. To the point I'd be laughed at by some around me. But that was being a bit of a deluded fan who would never boo his team. Because at our lowest even the shittest versions of Leicester looked like they cared.

If you clap this lot you are beyond help. This lot don't represent us in anyway and deserve everything they get. Winks being the epitome of that.

Why would he......

Commuting complaints and perceived lack of interest in giving his all to the club.

Anyone else surprised he celebrated with so much passion? I thought he had checked out long ago.

Maybe Rowett can get something out of him.

He is still our best passer and organiser in midfield, however his work rate and desire is one of the worst.

He’d of had worse financial advice then Lee Hendrie if he agreed to that

Then he cant throw his toys out of the pram, he is already set for life.

So he can move to a better footballing destination he prefers, but be comfortable with a little less savings than before.
Or he can put greed first but then has to respect his contract, including being respectful to his current manager, colleagues and the fan base.

Its not like this guy played lower league and Leicester is his only big contract, he was already wealthy from his time at spurs.  Sadly many people become more addicted to money the more of it they have, they forget they dont take it with them when they leave this world.

I saw that too. He had possibly checked out a n the past, when he saw that his teammates were not up to par, time and time again.
I would go on a limb and make him a captain for a game or two, if only to see whether he feels proud of the armband. He absolutely has more to offer, as does Skipp.

Really don’t understand the hate for Winks.

Us fans have criticised Cooper, Ruud and Marti for their inept tactics and shocking game management. He’s in a position where he can voice his opinion. He’s done just that yet fans call him out..

Clearly our best midfielder with exception to James and he’s not afraid to say what he thinks. Which is what we need when we’ve got a squad full of spineless bellends

I’ve always thought he cared and the way people perceive him as not acknowledging fans etc is more due to how frustrated he must be playing with the likes of Soumare.

A lot of people will be taken in by his celebration yesterday but I can’t get past his previous behaviour. Frustrated or not he’s really let us down acting the way he has done. He scored a fantastic goal but let’s see how he is from now on when things aren’t going his way.

Let’s be real, our best player or not, he’s been a right brat the last 18 months when we needed him the most.

What’s pathetic is those lapping him up, after he downed tools and refused to play for the club?

He may be the best player we have, but as far as I’m concerned, he can **** off.

Incredible short sightedness…

Couldn't agree more! Winks is only good until he throws his next strop! It reminds me of people that keep going back to their ex who cheated on them because it might be better this time. In my eyes, if you want winks to stay, you can no longer criticise jon rudkin. because giving winks a new contract is exactly what rudders would do..

Winks has probably realised that no one else wants him, so he's got to do some ass licking to try and get a new contract again. repeat.

He can **** right off. Don't care that he scored a goal yesterday. People like him are a big part of the reason we are where we are. Get rid

Like it or not, he could also be a major factor in helping us to survive this season. None of our rival teams near the bottom have a midfielder of anything like his quality. If he carries on playing like he did second half yesterday, he can celebrate how he wants as far as I’m concerned. It will neither annoy more nor make me forget about his past antics. I only care about what he can bring to the team.

He strolled around for 80 minutes of that game yesterday. Hitting a ball on target from 18 yards doesn't make up for that imo. But I guess that's where the standards are at nowadays
