LT had 2 players to mark on the back post because Mavididi was day dreaming on the edge of the box watching LT trying to deal with 2 players.

Our biggest problem for both their goals has been zero effort from our right side in trying to stop crosses.

This has been a huge problem all season.

Absolutely criminal, late in the game watching LT with 2 and just strolling along.

I couldn't believe what i was seeing. RUN, MAN ffs. It's inexcusable.

The whole defence is crap. Thomas is limited but he is more of an attacking threat, he’d probably be better not in defence. VC is equally if not more shit as he offers nothing defensive or attacking wise. I actually agree Ricky is the main problem, at least 50% of the crosses shouldn’t happen, it exposes a weakness Thomas has.

Was yesterday’s the same injury as his recent one? Looked like he was holding his ankle and the decision to sub was pretty instant.

I make that 9 players unavailable at that point including the DeCordova-Reid suspension, with Lascelles, Souttar, James & Fatawu particularly needed, Ramsey less so now we have Mukasa but would still be a nice option to have. Vesty and Choudhury…not bothered about.
Anyone regret leaving James on that day he got injured? The last time VK tried to play on it cost us another goal, if his movement is affected then going off is the only right thing to do, it’s not about heart, commitment and determination, it’s about not wanting an immobile player out there (insert Vestergaard joke here). OK you’d like to see him protest and resist a bit, he didn’t exactly require dragging off against his will but it was the right footballing decision reached with the contribution of the physio.

Some unreal statements on here.

He is not worse than LT.

Based on performance and abilities neither would be first choice at any other club in the championship and I doubt even at lower levels

Aluko should play on the right instead of Ricky P.

Luke Thomas is getting blamed for conceding goals from crosses, yesterday he had 2 players to deal with for their equaliser.

The real problems starts from RB, Ricky P doesn't get close enough to stop crosses, happened on both goals yesterday, in the collapse against Southampton and countless times this season.

The other issue is our full backs get zero defensive help from Mavididi, Fatawu or Monga either.

You've named 4 players there who need dropping in all fairness Ricky P, Thomas (he needs selling but that's another story), Mavididi and Fatawu.

We cant drop all of them, we're not blessed with replacements and to say Fatawu should be dropped is just crazy.

I said in another post we should play 433, with Fatawu, Mukasa and Daka as the attacking 3, some poster suggest Mavididi instead of Daka but he's no better IMO.

I would play Skipp, JJ and Aribo in midfield when all fit with the emphasis on working hard without the ball, Winks will play untill JJ is fit, he can control the tempo but he's not reliable enough defensively which is what we need.

At fullback Aluko at RB, either LT or VK at LB, Vesty and Lascelles, Nelson and Okoli at CB in that order.

We allow far to many easy crosses, especially from the right which is exposing a major weakness at LB.

The Sky commentator said it many times yesterday during the game, we don't work hard enough without the ball. This is true of everyone in the squad, Monga, Page, Winks, Mavididi, Fatawu, BDR, they don't help out defensively.

Thing is with Fatawu he scores a worldie once in a while then the other games does nothing at all basically becomes like playing with 10 men. I unfortunately don't think we see JJ again in a Leicester shirt if what I read is correct I'm sure I read he's out for the season I hope that's wrong. Even though Monga hasn't been great I'd just start him from the start now. Wouldn't be against starting or at least having Hutchinson on the bench rest of the season, get him prepared for next season Championship or most likely League 1. I don't rate Aribo at all. We're just full of Southampton rejects. Back four going forward should be Aluko, Nelson, Lascelles, VK. IF JJ is fit again this season the middle 3 should be him, Page and one of Winks or Skipp unfortunately.

To think people were cheering James Justin out the door

What a stupid comment.

Yeah. Not so we could watch Luke Thomas every week, but because we wanted an injury prone footballer on big wages who was clearly done here out of the club.

Fatawu has15 goal involvements, JJ 10, Monga has 3, Mukasa 4 already, Daka 5, Mavididi 3, Page 1, even the much maligned LT has 4.

IMO Monga and Page aren't ready for a relegation battle, they're just not disciplined enough defensively and their output doesn't warrant a start either.

I've not seen enough of Aribo, he's a physical presence hopefully he'll put a shift in.

Our priority is to keep a clean sheet, stop crosses, work for each other without the ball.

Looked really upset to be going off injured. Seems to be out of action ¾ of the time, comes back and straight injured again. Tough couple of seasons for him.

Find me an example of a player on probably 40k a week with 2 years left agreeing to having there contract cancelled.

Probably hasn’t happened in a long time and would take a lot of negotiating but if it’s in the best interest of everyone then worth exploring

We’re unlikely to get anything for him, he’s no good to us constantly unavailable and as it stands he could be a League 1 player

Why "off the pitch"?

Because he's not providing good competition to any player in his position. He's probably not testing any other player in training...
