Page 81 of this thread is when we announced his new 3 year deal. There categorically is not "a lot of chuffed people" reacting to this news.

Jesus that was some reading. I think it was the day we all knew we were fu**ed.

I think at best people understood it given how crucial Enzo thought he was, I don't remember anyone being happy

For me I accepted it as supporting our manager, wasnt thrilled about the 3 years.  Then when Enzo left soon after this contract was done, it then hit home how ridiculous it was.

Enzo had left before it Vestergaards contract was announced.

Yes but the contract was probably done before he left.  My initial response for clarification was likely to the expectation of the contract being signed as discussed in this thread a few years back.

yes because we had to wait to be officially a PL club due to the embargo but like Vardy the deal was done well in advance

Except Vestergaard was subbed at half-time in the 9-0, so wasn't on the pitch for Vardy's 2nd that night.

There's no point in making him seem worse than he actually is..😄

From vague memory there have been 4 or 5 games with Vestergaard in a Leicester shirt where the opponent were up at least 3 nil in the first half and could go on to score 9 but instead they stopped trying in the second half.

Says it all really, Vestergaard is an ingredient in a recipe for getting battered.

Guy scored more league goals than Winks and Skipp combined last season.

Still part of one of the worst back four this club has ever seen, mind.

Wish him well, preferably at a Danish club.

Why are you wishing him well? He's been a complete waste of time and money here. Absolute rubbish players that has offered nothing and contributed to three relegations.

He goes in the same bin as Daka and Ayew. Goodbye.

I think there have been many more and bigger culprits as part of our downfall than Vestergaard.

Above all, the people that signed this collective dross.

As for players, see my thread in the transfer section.

He's just one of a dozen of the bang average to poor, vastly overpaid footballers with egos far outweighing their abilities that we have. His attitude stinks. As does Winks, Choudhury, Faes, Kristiansen etc

Think he is released this week, see no other way that the talks end up in the press, does nothing for us or him finding a new club

I don't need the details, just, he's gone and a goodbye message.

No doubt people above are too blame as well but that doesn't take away the pathetic performances players such as Vestergaard turned out week after week. At some point there has to be accountability on their part.

Parasite.

Wouldn't take a move when out of favour with Rodgers, would rather pick up unearned wages and risk his world cup place.  Been phoning it in for ages and even now doesn't want to play but still wants to get paid.

Jannick, please f**" off you useless lump.

I don't wish him anything.
