He's a very streaky player, last season he went spells of being completely ineffective and then large spells of being immense. He's capable at this level but he probably doesn't get quite as much freedom to play himself back in to form. Will need to shape up again quickly.

He was probably our best player there other then KDH.

Ricardo was the best player on the pitch by a mile. Mavididi somehow managed to bottle a one on one then got dragged

He went of in 78 minutes when we were 1-0 up hardly call that being dragged.

He had good stats last season but if i remember he had a habit of going missing.

Again, unless i am imagining, didn't he get dropped at one point and it was only having been dropped he returned and actually played like he could be arsed.

De Ja Vu now that no one is challenging for his position again.

You know what kind of game you're going to get from him within the first few minutes. Yesterday when he missed that early chance, his head just dropped and he never got into the game.

Definition of a confidence player. If he doesn't score or doesnt pull off a trick his head drops. After that Leeds miss last season he vanished for a month. But dropping him has never helped. Enzo admitted that last season, brought him back after a couple of games and then admitted it was a mistake. United away isn't a place to play your way back into form.

Really bizarre cameo this evening. Looked to be moving in slow motion and gave up tracking back defensively on more than one occasion, which he never did under Maresca.

Live Mavididi. I thought he was givem.a.job to stretch them and play on the.break.tonight. not track back.necessarily. We need a fit Mavididi if we are to have enough to win 5 or 6 more games this season

Pipes suggested that he looked a bit 'under the weather'. Might be why he's not been involved much lately.

Such a massive shame that young Abdul is missing out on this new era. Think he would've thrived under Ruud.

He does look a bit short on confidence at the moment.

Love watching him when he’s cutting in and whipping shots into the far corner - If the team can improve and he can get a bit of belief back he’ll be dangerous at this level…I’m sure of it!

I didn’t think he would make the step up this season. Yesterday another example of why he shouldn’t start games. Where’s the attacking intent?  Not sure what it is he is meant to offer the team

This kid needs loaning to Stoke. Utter dog shit.

If he's not pulling his cycling shorts down ....he's on the back foot watching play go on around him.

The only energy this kids delivered this season is when he was warming up as a sub and met Enzo on the touchline.......someone needs to remind him that's the closest he'll get to Chelsea !

So so poor. Tries to make passing a short pass look like it’s a world beating skill. Always makes himself unavailable for Kristiansen. Makes very little effort to recover when out of position. Bending he stayed on today
