Stevosevic Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Enzo has said we may need to add another CB. Have we had any other links to CB this summer apart from Coady?

LFEFox23 Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Personally think Faes is our best CB, Happily see Vesterbin or Souttar go! or both!

Almost as if we're trying to offload Castagne to finance a move for someone else. 12-15m would be a bargain, looking at the bigger picture should we get promotion. 7 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 My interpretation is it’ll be someone in Coady’s mold who could lead from the back with a lot of experience, could see us going for someone like Dan Burn from Newcastle 1

You’d imagine Man City are likely to offer players and cash for Paqueta, and West Ham have been after THB according to the press. It would be a great signing, but it feels unlikely? Hopefully Maguire deal goes through and they decide that is it for CBs. Also a bit confused as to why Burnley aren’t in for him. 1
Countryfox Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 If Coady is out for 10 weeks .. and will then need to get match fit we need someone that’s for sure.
davieG Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Leicester City Star Does Not Want To Play In Championship, Club Could Offer Escape Route 10/08/2023 - 20:29 BST SAM SENGUPTA Wout Faes does not want to play in the Championship with Leicester City and could be offered an escape route by Turkish giants Galatasaray. The 25-year-old defender joined the Foxes only last summer from French side Reims for a fee in the region of £15m. However, his first season in England was not a pleasant one as he and his team-mates failed to retain Leicester City’s top-flight status. In spite of still having four years left on his current contract, Faes is now keen on a move away from the King Power Stadium as he does not wish to play football in the second tier. According to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, Galatasaray are interested in giving Faes an escape route. Signing for the Turkish champions would also give Belgian a chance to take part in Champions League football if the club manage to get through the playoffs. Leicester on their part are interested in Galatasaray player Yunus Akgun and negotiations between the two clubs regarding both transfers are continuing at the moment. 23-year-old Akgun, who operates as a winger, has taken part in all three Champions League qualifications games Galatasaray have played so far. 1

We don't do emergency CBs very well at all. Enzo may have to make do with what he has. Obviously Faes is going nowhere at all , he will have to lump it , poor sod.

Calling bullshit on this. Wouldn't be involved if we were trying to sell and wouldn't be cup tied already.
Sankey93 Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 @Sambiasso come on mate any CB names ? I hope it’s THB or Edwards!

Articles like this are bollocks. No one actually knows what is going through a players mind. Initially he may have wanted to leave, but since Maresca’s arrival he could well have changed his mind. Ultimately, if no bids come in, he doesn’t go.
