His options aren’t perfect but everything has an opportunity cost and we still need options further up the pitch The system dictates that really he has Faes, Doyle, Vestergaard, Kristiansen, Souttar and Justin available to him until what seems like the second international break. Any team would want another CB and we can’t be knocking on the door of then prem relying on people covering when we don’t know the length of the injury… even if just Faes was wanting out and we didn’t have an injury we should be looking to get another CB in anyway.. A few players at 10-15 could be solid in the long run. Numbers wise we have enough but clearly none of us want to see Vestergaard again and Souttar seems out of favour with Maresca.
