Watched the extended highlights looks like he gets fingertips on that rocket shot that hit the bar

I was sat at that end of the ground and I'm 100% sure he get something on it.

One expert in the match thread today...

I'm wondering if this same chimp asks on another week why do we bother playing the ball out f?rom the back

I think he is an excellent keeper and I really like his attitude and the way he conducts himself, you can see he loves the club. I thought he was excellent dealing with most of the crosses into his box, his distribution was a little rusty but also good to see us mix it up more, we were far less predictable which was a pleasant change.

He is still young for a goalkeeper and learning the trade.

His game time for us is seeing him improve significantly over the last year and with us having so many other areas we need to strengthen then we shouldn't be spending on a new GK and keep developing him.

His shot-stopping is good, his command of the area and aerial ability on crosses has vastly improved. He is becoming reliable and reducing his mistakes.

My main criticism is when saving shots he needs to parry away from the danger areas more... but hopefully we will see this improve as he continues as our number 1

Said he weren’t good enough weeks ago. He just seems to invite pressure.

Also never seen a GK go down so much, as soon as he gets touched.

He’s mostly a good keeper but he’s too prone to dropping a 4/10 performance. He needs a near faultless rest of the season otherwise we should be looking at a replacement

He's a cheap stop gap.

We need a long term number 1.

Makes some very impressive saves but his handling and distribution are really poor and I'm not convinced he's actually much (if at all) better than Hermansen was at commanding his area

Haven't watched the game, maybe he didn't have a good night but guess which keeper has prevented most goals out of all keepers in this division?

That'll be Jakub

  • Most Goals Prevented: Jakub Stolarczyk (Leicester City) has the highest "goals prevented" statistic, a metric that quantifies how many goals a goalkeeper has saved compared to the expected goals (xG) they faced.

I keep saying it (and the stats appear to back me up) but he is going to be an outstanding keeper.
