Leaves us short for Monday, but not bothered at all if sensi arrives, never seemed quite good enough and I think Chelsea are in for a shock if he plays PL for them

It seems highly likely to me - a lot more plausible than Chelsea spontaneously recalling him.

Probably not a shocking decision as it will be all part of the FFP dark arts. Some weird stuff going to be happening.

Even if we’ve sent him back with the thought of bringing someone in on a permanent basis, there’ll have been talks to manage the situation. 
 

Chelsea won’t want to put out that we’ve returned him, when they likely want to make money from a sale. We won’t want to cut ties with Chelsea by saying it was our choice… hence they’ve ’recalled him’. 
 

Obviously this is conjecture, but it could have some credence.

Wasn’t Casadei on Rob Tanners list of the deals we weren’t sure on making perm come the summer. Understandable if they’ve called him back if that is the reason. Get him another loan for a summer move. He’s a £19m signing for them and they just have to be ****ed with FFP.

Surely this helps get the Sensi deal sealed.

Wouldn't surprise me if we initiated talks with Chelsea, or at least were very willing to let Casadei return.
