Still not entirely sure what his best position is tbh. Feel as a top winger you need to have either (or ideally all!) pace, ability to beat a man, crossing (although less so these days) and finishing. His main attributes seem to be work rate and coming into the box to finish. Could he be a better RWB or even an 8?

Yeah I agree I think he looked pretty good when he played as a high 8 away at Stoke although only played there for 45 minutes  and was taken off at half time, never to play there since. I also think he would make a brilliant right back, good engine, disciplined and physically would do well.

Agree with the fullback bit, most of his good work yesterday was getting his foot in and blocking. And if his shot had hit the side netting from that acute angle, his teammates may have given him a roasting.

I still get the feeling with him that I don’t really know what he is. Not a winger really, not a number 10, not a striker … needs an identity.

Utility player?

He's one of those players that keeps surprising. Didn't expect him to ever play for us in the championship, didn't expect him to become an established first teamer, didn't expect him to score in the Prem.

Fair play to him.

In a 343 could see him being a very good rwb, has the legs and size to cover the ground and not be pushed about, and him overlapping Fatawu would be a fun combo

I want to see him as a striker! I think he’s got the build and that little hunger and fight in the box. Hence he would be better suited as striker. I don’t think he’s cuts it as a winger but I’m hoping he can be the replacement we need and for free! He hits the ball well and he would be more of a threat then Daka for sure.

I like him. This is his club and you can see he cares when he puts the shirt on, unlike many others in the first team, and some in the academy.

Yes, this emphasizes how far we've fallen, where us as fans want players who give a shit (that should be an expectation - but oh well). Right now that's where we are i guess..

One goal and suddenly he's the Messiah for some. He really is quite poor. He scored a good goal admittedly but really can't make his mind up at times. Realistically over a whole game he offers very very little.

I like him. He comes across extremely well on interviews. Very mature and seems very level headed lad.

I want him to be a success, and I think he'll do a job for us in the championship but I fear he lacks the quality for much more. But happy to be proven wrong.

But a very likeable lad that always works hard and I want him here next season.

Think that’s unfair, he did an incredible amount of dirty work against Ipswich, probably one of the best games he’s had for us. If the rest of the squad put in the shifts Kasey did we wouldn’t be going down. I’d much rather him than half that fecking squad of *****

I’ve thought this too. His finishing has been good and he has composure in front of goal, plus his timing is good. I think in the right system he could be effective.

I do love the Foxestalk tradition of a player suddenly getting a wave of complimentary posts when they score after hundreds of pages of abuse.

I don't think there's one player that doesn't fall into that category.

Always said he can't run with the ball. He's a one or two touch player. He is a winger who can get in good positions but he's not going to dribble past a few and whip one in.

He reminds me of a wide Andy King. Sneaks into the box and gets himself on the end of stuff.

I really like him, he is committed, hard working and would run through a brick wall for our club, whilst he isn’t tricks and that technically gifted, he is an effective and athletic player and we need a balance. He is a very good squad player has he is very adaptable and versatile, he could play full back, either wing, centre midfield and I also agree I think he could a job as a striker.

Always thought he could make a decent right back.
