Swarles Barkley Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Ofc the fvcking one time he has to stay (due to lack of backup options and closed transfer window) someone else wants him 3 1
AKCJ Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 I'd be surprised if he accepts that given the wage he's on here and how highly he rates himself. Then again, I was surprised Kasper went there so maybe they have a bit of cash?
Nolucklcfc Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 If we can get a decent fee, absolutely sell and promote Nelson. 3

goose2010 Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 well they are about to sign Kasper so 'Danish Friends' to be reunited? Honestly i wouldn't sell him, not until Jan anyway.
Dahnsouff Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 That would have been madness (due to personnel and too little time to replace) 1
CosbehFox Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 interestingly they have a small danish contingent there - his best mate Thomas Delaney plays for them alongside Dolberg, soon to be Schmeichel and another Danish player. Linked to Thorgen Hazard too. Their manager was Frank's assistant at Brentford and before that had a long spell at Copenhagen with their youth teams . 1
StanSP Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Given that our only options for CB are Faes, Doyle, Coady, Vestergaard and Nelson, and maybe Justin, it would leave us thin on the ground. I would put Souttar in there but it's clear Enzo doesn't rate him.

lcfc_forever Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Let him go. He's been decent this season but his contract is expiring, and unlikely he'll renew so we can cash in on a player who isn't key, especially with Coady returning soon plus depth from Souttar, Nelson and Justin. 1
Mark_w Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Just now, ronnup said: Leaves us short I think we’d be fine. Souttar an option, Nelson, use Justin on the right of the three, Ndidi could drop back there to make room for the Casadei KDH partnership. Vestergaard combines not being very good, and being quite old, with being paid way too much. Hope it goes through. 4
Popular Post South Shire Fox Posted 4 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 September 2023 Sell Lurch, bring Souttar back into the fold.. happy days 11 1
Jimmy Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 sell him and coach Souttar up, it annoys me how this aspect of being a manager is always ignored now 4
James_lcfc Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Would be a dream. ...which obviously means it won't happen.

Guest Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 He's actually not been a disaster thus far but with Coady due to return fairly soon and Souttar presumably coming back into the fold now our window's closed we'd probably be fine letting him go
Ric Flair Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Sell. Move Doyle inside and then sign Yanis Hamache on a free transfer. 1
CrazyKopCorner Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Absolutely let him go. He did okay on Saturday but he is weigh too limited a player
Chelmofox Posted 4 September 2023 Posted 4 September 2023 Interesting! His deal is over end of season so (like Nacho and Ndidi should have), we should sell. When Coady comes back he will be down the pecking order, and I imagine if Justin can stay fit and get stronger we have backup in him and Nelson to develop. There is also the Souttar situation that has to get sorted, so potentially more backup there. If he goes, then i think he handled himself absolutely brilliantly this season. A huge part of the system rebuild. 3
