I’m not sure why so many get wired by a tweet from some Leeds fan nonentity who is not representative of the club or fan base as a whole. Leeds are like pretty much any club, including us, in that they have their blinkered fans who engage in troll like behaviour but also more reasonable ones who take a more rational view of things

Isn't this normal for the team you're competing with at the top too? I remember hating Burnley in 2014 and hearing Dyche bleat on about pound notes.

Yeah of course it is, no Leicester fans really care about Spurs either but the behaviour of fans during a high pressure season brings it all out. If you can give it, you have to take it.

 

Leeds fans spinning it as us being obsessed is pure delusion. Every time we dropped points they were everywhere, a few chants now we’re promoted doesn’t come close to their nonsense over the season. If they win the play offs we’ll see plenty of what they’re calling ‘small club mentality’

You have to say this has all got blown up out of proportion and most importantly as a club and players we should focus on what we have done, not what they haven't YET.

I will add one thing, based on Rutter's comments in that interview, if the lino and ref had any level of competency in the away, we would have counted Daka's ONSIDE goal (the one where he received the ball from THEIR defender) and we would have won that game AT LEAST 2-0, all arguments done.

Haha was waiting for the first edgy lcfc fan to go here. Enjoy it - there are blood vessels being burst over Leeds United iPhones and laptops this week, all because they can’t keep their silly little traps shut. Deserving every jibe and bit of stick they get back imo. Loving it.

Just gonna put it out there that the majority of Leeds fans are sound. There are the chronically online trolls who are incredibly bitter but if you’d watch your team play like 2006 Italy for 8 weeks and then throw it all away by playing like San Marino, you’d be devastated and would probably lash out. 
 

The I predict a riot stuff is funny but also life in northern England for people in 2024 is generally sh*t. They got 10 minutes of joy, no wonder they were buzzing. They’re bitter, some are deluded etc but I think it’s to be expected, and I’d rather be arguing with Leeds fans than the Spurs/Liverpool/Arsenal/United trolls who were giving it the biggun at us in the past decade for daring to beat them.
