I know we were winning, but it would be nice when we beat the press to actually continue to play it forward.

 

Did well in the main but if chances open up we should definitely try build on a 1-0 lead

If Bristol City would have won they would have gone 4th. I know it’s early days but we absolutely outplayed them.

 

I remember saying when I looked at the September fixtures towards the end of August that if we were still  top by the end of September I’d definitely be thinking promotion was on the cards..

We are still a work in progress, but it's still so very early in the season. When this clicks (and surely when we have more runners arriving late in the box) we are going to start steamrolling teams on the scoreboard too. 

Fatuwu looks the real deal. Wilf has been an absolute revelation. Justin immense (and looks better than Doyle tbh) and even Vesty is playing so very very well.

I found it interesting throughout. Even in the first half, the game was a bit like playing a puzzle game on your phone. You've got to work your way through the maze to complete the level! When we appointed Maresca the thing I was most happy with is that it was a manager who knows how to break down a deep block, because most teams will come here for the 0-0. It means you need a calm manager who knows how to create a system that makes chances even against defensive teams. And that is exactly what we've got!

I think we did. Fatawu laid it on a plate for Mavididi 3 or 4 times and KDH had a big chance. I know what you mean though, we do need to be more clinical

I enjoyed watching it, although it confused me that they talked about 'City' all the time - until I realised I was watching a BCFC stream!

Anyone else get a flashback to that Burnley game a good few seasons ago now where Ross Wallace scored a free kick equaliser in the last kick of the game?

Many thanks for the updates this afternoon. 

Totally gutted to have missed today's game , but off to Seville,  so spent this afternoon in Luton Airport,  bitting my nails and being in a world of my own.

 

Delighted with the 3 points and hope the KP gave Nigel, Kingy,Matty and Dave a brilliant reception
