I guess it makes sense to try the tactics against the big guns, but given how many chances we've given championship clubs I'm not sure what he thought was going to happen against a team who pretty much directly counter our style. We are very fortunate that Liverpool have blown so many chances, I was quite happy with the first half really but overall we've not really done a huge amount tonight. I'd happily sacrifice the cup this season though and just focus 100% on promotion.

We on the other hand, just play one way. We need to be smart and unpredictable, that doesn't mean not playing from the back, but to do it smartly. 1

Not excusing those fans but didn’t most of them back Suarez over racist comments to Evra? It’s the sheer hypocrisy that is most annoying about Liverpool - for a supposedly worthier than thou club, they backed the super league and quick to try to fire employees during lockdown. 1
