Popular Post Bert Posted 27 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 27 September 2023 A tough game against a side where you never know what you’re gonna get. Winnable, of course. Let’s hope we can continue our good league form. 5
Vacamion Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 They showed when they beat us last season that they work hard, they believe in what they are doing and if we aren't on it, they'll make us pay. That said, our recent league form is unbelieveable.
Popular Post StanSP Posted 27 September 2023 Popular Post Posted 27 September 2023 Bound to be goals given how attacking both sides are. Glad to have a fresh Winks, Vardy, Mavididi, Faes, Vestergaard back for this, too. Will make a huge difference having Winks back in the midfield. 5
Phube Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 (edited) Does anyone know if Blackburn made many changes tonight? Edit: Found in BBC match report they made 8 changes. So all square then. Edited 27 September 2023 by Phube
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Tough game this one. Blackburn is a horrible place to go to, particularly if the weather is shite. I think it’ll be a Desmond
goose2010 Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Should be a good attacking game. Would take a draw but hopefully we do what we did against Norwich and Southampton.
Simonb Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 I'd be more than happy with a draw here.. Doyle won't be playing so whatever player steps up needs to be on it as they are scoring for fun at the moment
Lcfc-1992 Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Not sure what I’d go for in defence. Don’t want Ricardo playing 3 in a week and Justin 2 1/2 games in a week.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Surely after 10 changes tonight we should be bang at it. 1-3 city. 1
Simonb Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Did they play their first team tonight.. If so I'd be more confident. I'd go with Riccy Vesty Faes JJ for it though.. their banging in goals at the moment. Bring in Coady for Preston and give Hamza a game. Preston have started well, but of the two, I fancy Preston at home as marginally easier

jbflcfc Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 Has anyone watched them much this season? Are we expecting an end to end game or will they play a low block & try to hit on the counter?
Noahfence Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 (edited) From what I’ve read they’re been quite unlucky this season. Decent Underlying stats too (I think?). They will definitely come at us so should be space to work with. Conceded 16 so likely to get chances just hope we’re a bit more clinical Edited 27 September 2023 by Noahfence
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 They’re mid table cannon fodder aren’t they? 🤪 In all seriousness I think they’ve dropped off quite a bit since they beat us last season. I’m confident.
Tielemans63 Posted 27 September 2023 Posted 27 September 2023 They've got the highest xg in the league. They're a good side that are starting to click. Tricky game.
lnkstern Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 Just because of where I live, this is a 5am start for me. Ugh. The rested players we can bring back in as starters will be a huge plus. I actually don't know much about Blackburn this season. I think we will win, but it may be tight. Mostly I wanted to whinge about the 5am start. And I get the match on ESPN+, so I don' have to hope that FoxesHub works this week.
Unabomber Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 Can’t see anything besides an extremely embarrassing defeat for Blackburn 1

I knew Coalville is a bit further from the city, but has its own time zone!! Edited 28 September 2023 by fox_favourite 2
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 The way this lot come and attack and keep attacking even when 2 or 3 goals down, will be interesting.
Trelleh Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 We owe this lot a pasting for the cup game last season
LCFCJohn Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 To echo others, would take a draw here. We could easily go there and rack up a decent win but similarly get punished if not on it. The wins away at Southampton and Norwich help with a draw being a good result here. Not even going to start trying to predict the side
FoxyJim1987 Posted 28 September 2023 Posted 28 September 2023 Very very dangerous game. If we don't defend well we could come unstuck. They leak goals but score for fun. Aggregate of 8-6 in their last two games. Should be a lot of space for us hopefully but they have talent.
