weller54 Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Early doors I know but 3 points here opens up a big gap to 3rd. Think we'll win this quite comfortably. 3-0.
Popular Post Blueman1967 Posted 1 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 1 October 2023 Only lost their first game on Saturday, might be harder game, then most people think. 19
Spudulike Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Up until yesterday, Preston had been very difficult to score against. They will do what every other team does at the KP by bus parking, low blocking, spoiling, frustrating. This points at being another decided by a single goal. An early goal would change everything. 2
Noahfence Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 This is going to be utterly vile isn’t it? 13 men behind the ball 2 1
Devonfox1884 Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Will this be on the red button being midweek?
LCFCJohn Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Probably a low key 1-0 win. We seem to find it easier on the road so any win will do! 1
Spudulike Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 No Vestergaard, McAteer or Doyle (obviously). 1

Chelmofox Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 My first midweek game since Liverpool late last year. A few weeks back i thought Preston would have a go at us but now pretty sure this will be low block tastic. If we win we are going to have to grind this out 1-0. Don't think it will be a lot of fun.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 7 points clear of third would get me very excited. 1
Ian Nacho Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Hermansen Faes, Coady, Justin, Ricardo, Winks Yunus, Ndidi, KDH, Mavididi, Iheancho. Wayna to be on the bench. 4
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 We can play both Preston and Wednesday and beat them both 🦊 1

Devonfox1884 Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Hermansen Choudhury Souttar Coady JJ Winks Casadei KDH Wanya Kel Akgün Then for Stoke: Hermansen Ricardo Faes Vestergaard JJ (is there another option, Nelson?) Winks Ndidi KDH Fatawu Vardy Mavididi So only Mads (GK so shouldn’t matter), JJ, Winks and KDH having to play 3 times in a week. It’s not ideal, but showcases where we slightly lack depth at the moment. 1

Unabomber Posted 1 October 2023 Posted 1 October 2023 Can’t see anything but an embarrassing defeat for Preston

I'd expect to win, but if there was one game that was going to end 0-0 this season, this is the one. They just shipped 4, which is really unlike them, so I think they will probably be even MORE defensive than usual. If they come away with a point and an XG of 0, they won't care the slightest. 5
