I don't usually say I told you so but I told everyone Kelechi absolutely pisses this league and scores 30+ goals.

We all know you like certain types of player to pick on though. That won't change.

Now we find out if Stoke have a Plan B.

This is obviously Plan A, B and C.

Seeing how far forward our defensive backs are pushing up, it seems almost insane to me.

Until I think about the fact that it is completely working.

Love Marescaball.

I don't get how we never before saw this side of Vestergaard? He's incredible tbh.

He looks good in this league because nobody presses and he literally has half the pitch to himself. It's a different story in the PL where 90% of teams press high and give the ball carriers no space or time

MOTM for me is Vestergaard, he's so good on the ball. He's dictating the entire game.

He's going to end up getting a new deal, and he's going to deserve it. He's playing like we have another Winks in the team, just at centre half.

And then he followed up with his woeful lack of pace getting him booked and bailed out by Hamza 1 min later lol.

He's been excellent the last 5/6 games he's played but let's also be fair in that his role isn't the most difficult in this team. He doesn't get put under any pressure so you would expect him be able to make those passes but his decision making has generally been good.

To be clear, it's night and day between what we saw before so he deserves his place in the team but let's not alos ignore the fact that if we get exposed in the PL like we do at least once a game, the opposition strikers will get in every single time. Now, that's not all on him and the system will need to change defensively but you'd have to question whether a new deal is a forward thinking move.
