I do have some sympathy with those on first three or so rows however they are given the heads up every match day that their view will be blocked and for how long etc. They could if so wish stand in the aisle further up for the 1 minute or so to see the players lining up. Or perhaps more positively offer their help and assistance where by they could be still in a position to see and be creating something positive for the players and thousands of others.

We are also talking at max three games a season too.

Yes, always present at FCC and similar meetings.

What was the response to the person that mentioned the tifo 'issue'? Or non-issue!

Also not to do with the rights or wrongs of those with issues regarding the tifos the thing that got to me is taking it to this event.

There is a lot of Leicester fans I think are aware of UFS and how specifically at times they can be disagreements between them and the club. The club need no extra ammo to clamp down on UFS, especially around tifos.  We know this for sure as already this comment has seen the club knock back a proposed tifo and further create questions on materials used (wanting transparent materials ffs). Taking this issue to an occasion like the FCC on the clubs turf which is their meeting by rights just seems the wrong way to go about.

Would it not have been better going to UFS directly and keeping the club out of it, supporter to supporter.
Its clear where they are in the ground, they openly put of their contact details online and frankly the matchday stall would have been a great place for both parties to mediate.

But no the stall was culled by the club in wing clamping excerise.

I mean this genuinely, I do not know how you guys find the time or the strength to deal with the club for things like this - it is a good job you guys are all passionate about the club because with all the hoops and hurdles and jobsworth fans complaining about trivial things, I'd have jacked it in ages ago.

In my mind of recent years some of the big games, the big occasions, TIFO's and displays are what are dotted in my mind with the memories. It feels like it's something the club should want, they should be crying out for passionate fans but it seems the hierarchy at LCFC and some of the older-school fans don't want it.

For me it's a fan going proactively out of their way to make it more difficult for a group trying to make a positive difference. Mind blowing

Unironically not realising that by being part of the TIFO they're actually participating in an occasion.

Players walking out of the tunnel is not an occasion lol

Do the Tifo at the end of the games. Will mostly have left by then

I also like how it states that it'll take no more than two weeks to distribute the minutes lol

That’s the club distribution to people attending,  it means that foxes trust received them around a month ago

No they were emailed last night, two weeks late.

Not to split hairs but The meeting was the 6th of September, 2 weeks takes you to 20th September, last night was the 16th of October, nearly 4 weeks difference

Most Tifos involve people holding up some coloured plastic or card, the general view isn't blocked, the blocking comes from the banner held up on the front concourse which is up for barely 1-2 mins. It's something that happens 3 or 4 times per season and livens up one of the most passive, quiet, featureless stadiums in the country for a total of 8-10 minutes a year.

I look back at the 90s/00s with balloons, tickertape and crowd noise and wonder when our fanbase became so dull that Tifos are a source of annoyance.

Yes the sound of the kop at Filbert Street when you came down Brazil Street at times just before kick off was absolutely deafening - When you see some of the lukewarm, half arsed people that now sit in the kop it's an absolute lifetime apart

I am mates with a lad who was involved at a recent fan consultation at a scottish club.  The difference is staggering.  The club were totally on board with the supporters group, were all for safe standing to be introduced for the group, megaphones, drums and displays all green lit...in fact 90% of the meeting was about how the club could accomodate them.  Very very little opposition at all to anything the fans wanted.

More evidence on why the scottish scene is growing so much and why they are attracting a huge amount of younger fans to games.

For the supporter numbers they get the Scottish scene is excellent

I enjoy being part of the Tifos in the Kop but I would genuinely suggest, if you can, doing one in the Family Stand. I bet the kids would love to be involved in it.

Nothing on safe standing again. Absolute joke.
