Might just be me but why are the club making a thing of this? Fair play to him, but why would anyone else give a shit? Maybe I'm missing something and maybe there are some fans that would care about this but I absolutely couldn't give a flying fck what nationality he is 🤣

It’s kinda like the acceptance stage that he’ll never be good enough to play for England. He is proud of his heritage though and I’d imagine he’d be a bit of superstar in Dhaka, behind the cricketers of course.

Given the diversity of Leicester and large Bangladeshi population it's quite a nice thing for them to share.

Good for marketing and PR, I guess.

Plus he's probably Bangladesh's equivalent to Lionel Messi.

Very true.

He’s a bit rubbish and seems like a bit of a bad egg as well, no idea why we’ve given him extensions.

What makes you think he's a bad egg? He seems reasonably popular among the other players...

Drink driving when you can afford to hire a driver, never mind paying whatever for a taxi is a just scummy.

I mean - do you think that Hamza was the first player to drive whilst over the limit or the first one to get caught? - let's not forget that most football players (not all but most) are not the brightest sparks.....

No, I never said that did I?

Just as it was scummy when Wes Morgan did it too.

Somebody else has done it before?

Well in that case it's all good.

He's a good Leicester servant, blows VERY hot and cold and sadly got caught up in the trappings of being paid shedloads of money for not being very good.

Shame, if he had applied himself a bit more rather than going to parties in Covid, caught in the car over the limit etc.  I would suggest a bit more application to the limited ability he had might have meant he might have been a decently better player for us.

BUT in the end he got a 4 year contract out of us last year, when probably he should have been on his way.

Good Luck with the international thing, lets hope he doesn't have the same thing happen to him that happened to Abdul on meaningless international duty.

Well I didn't say it was all good did I? My point was that there are plenty of people in the community that have probably done it before. But because it's Hamza people need to make it out that he's the only bad egg in the camp becuase he drove whilst over the limit.

For what it's worth I despise it when people make that choice as it's purely selfish. But on the same token Hamza wasn't the first and unfortunately won't be the last

Good for him!

Purely football speaking, i hope that he does well and gets their community more engaged in football.

Don't hate the man for signing a contract we all would have taken in similar circumstances. That's on management.

Hope he himself has learned some tough, valuable lessons and does better as a human on other fronts.
