The overreaction on here to Daka starting ahead of Cannon is ridiculous, he's still returning from a long lay off. No use risking him now when he's gonna be 1 of only 2 strikers available in a few weeks 

 

We're entering a very busy period and we have a decent squad, may as well use it.

After a player has been out as long as Canon has, they are not going to start games and be expected to play 60+ minutes of competitive football.

We are in no rush, learning from past mistakes. He will start of with 15, 20

minutes here and there before he is ready to start.

Daka know where the back of the net is, and has his chance today.

I would absolutely love Daka to score well and take over the mantle as our lead striker. It would solve a lot of problems for us..

The only odd thing is that if you wanted to rotate our strike force. Why wouldn't you have given these two lads a few mins off the bench in recent weeks. They will be extremely rusty now.
