Fatawu gets booked for nothing and Winks is deliberately pulled back after going past his man and no yellow. The inconsistencies are incredible. All refs make mistakes and miss things but I just don't understand how they consistently get it wrong when it comes to booking players. Very odd

Yeah he had the time to take another touch if he wanted. That was a much better opportunity than the way it played out.

I'm starting to really hope Rotherham get relegated. Total lack of ambition. I mean, I know we are good, but at least make some sort of effort to play a game.

None? How many do you think are going to let us have the ball without much pressure? None? So the point is, if our philosophy is possession orientated we need to be better at doing something with that considering we'll have far less of it next year. We go through the motions so often and rely on the sheer amount of possession and overwhelming individual quality to get us over the line. That won't work next year. And we're hardly going to see us become a counter attacking team under Enzo. He's married to this philosophy so he need to make sure they're were maximising what we can do with this style of play.

I'm not sure of this widely held view that players cannot play 2 games in a week, the 2nd 11 although capable are clearly a level below, Coady/Souttar/ Casadei and Cannon clearly need to show more in training to get a place, a few others coming back from injury, suprised Hamza didn't get a run out though, Enzo seems to like him, perhaps Ipswich where we will have less of the ball Is actually more of a Hamza game.

We’re too nice. Players and crowd.  They need to be reminding this ref constantly of the time wasting.  2 minutes added on after it takes as long for one of their long throws.

That pull back on Winks, without a retrospective yellow was just piss poor officiating.

My son said at least this ref won’t be as bad as the one in the last game. I think the ref must have heard him, as he quite obvious said, hold my fuching beer.

I would absolutely love a screamer of a goal from either Jannik or Wout.

 

Faes has already taken at least one pot-shot on goal that went well over the bar.
