Is fatawu still banned? I thought people said he was available for Swansea???

Yes this is the 3rd and final game he'll miss.

He is very much the type of player that managers love to have in their squad.  Defensively responsible while still offering attacking options. I can see him being used in a midfield position as his game matures.

The fact that you don't rate him & Maresca does speaks volumes.

I’d be interested to see him up front. Gets into good positions and has a decent finish, as we saw vs Saints & Liverpool. As a winger he isn’t quick or tricky enough for me

Stroud to referee Swans visit to Leicester City
January 29, 2024 by Swans Info
Hampshire born official Keith Stroud has been appointed the referee for the Swans trip to Championship league leaders Leicester City on Tuesday evening.

It will be the second time that Stroud has officiated a Swansea City game this season, having been the man in the middle for the Swans Boxing Day drubbing at Southampton.

Referee Stroud will be assisted by Lee Venamore and Mark Russell, with David Webb the 4th Official for the game at the King Power stadium.

If you have a read of Keith Stroud’s statistics when officiating Swansea City games, you’ll understand why he isn’t one of the most popular officials with Swansea City fans.

Keith Stroud EFL Championship Record 2023/2024
This will be the 15th Championship game that Stroud has taken charge of so far this season, during which he has handed out 72 yellow cards and 1 red card.

Four of those yellow cards were shown to Liam Cullen, Josh Tymon, Jay Fulton and Joe Allen during the Swansea’s 5-0 defeat at Southampton on Boxing Day.

This will be Stroud’s third Leicester game this season, having overseen the Foxes 3-2 home wins over Millwall last December and the 1-0 win against Sunderland in October.

During those games he showed yellow cards to Conor Coady, Wout Faes, Kelechi Iheanacho, Jannik Vestergaard, James Justin and Ricardo Pereira.

They aren't going to do that whilst there are loads of seats in the rest of the ground still unsold.

M1 was on sale last week but they have taken it off. As a post above mentions, there are thousands of empty seats throughout the stadium (ticket resale I would imagine) and they are likely selling them first (no way they all sell anyway).

In fact, with the game having only just gone on sale, It is likely that loads of tickets simply haven't been snapped up by members.
