Sounds good . A bargain fee to entice another Club to compensate his loss of Rolls Royce salary.  Pointless keeping him here and no loans to any Club in Italy or Turkey.

He’s worth 7m amortised to us

 

if we loan him this season then he’s only 1 year left next summer and that becomes complicated 

 

we should be able to get £7m and the buying club cover his wage differential for two seasons (approx 4m - he’s worth 40k/week max in Italy or France) 

 

so a sale for 7m wipes him off our books completely with neutral psr implications (apart from saved wages).  I bet we don’t manage to negotiate that wage saving!
