Maresca is just like Rodgers, he really is. One way of playing and when that is worked out (which isn’t difficult), he can’t or won’t change it and just keeps ploughing on with the same old same old.  You wouldn’t know when this Leicester team are winning, drawing or losing. The instruction from the bench is the same.

What Millwall wanted us to do tonight was pass it slowly, start moves from as far back as possible and have rigid positions with no movement (let alone intelligent movement) off the ball. Because that’s easy to defend against.

Why do we choose to play a style of football that makes it easier for the opposition and harder for us to create chances?

Very true this.

 

They were stronger but also appreciated our slow pace to the game.

 

If we had just gone 4-4-2 today with Vardy + Nacho would’ve been different
