My original connection to the club!

Hope he can stay in the game if that is his choice.  He has so much to offer!

Another player we have where legend doesn't do him justice. Went through it all with us.

Even though Vardy, Mahrez, Kasper and Kante and the like got a lot of plaudits, at times I was most happiest for King when we won the PL, given he'd seen and experienced us at our lowest in League One. That scrappy goal against West Ham sparked the great escape in 14/15.

A player forever welcome at the club for all the heart and soul he poured into it. Should definitely have something commemorative for him.

One of my favourite ever players.

What a career. Only player to win the top 3 leagues with the same club then finishes out his career with the club he supported as a lad.

He couldn't have written it any better.

What a guy, what a player, what a legend.

Would love to see some form of testimonial / charity match.

Albrighton,  kingy, Schmeichel,  Morgan, Fuchs..

There's so many that deserve the opportunity.

Managed by Sven would be a nice touch.

The title winning squad Vs an Eden Hazard select XI would be charity gold! Horrific it hasn’t happened yet. Would be the easiest win for the club from a PR point of view.

It would sell out in minutes, they could sell tickets to watch it online…

Frustrates me every year, but we have no one creative at our club so it probably won’t happen.

Just wait for the 10 year anniversary and them all being retired. Get the team back together for something with Ranieri.

Decent trophy haul to retire with

This is the exact moment Leicester City hero Andy King believed title win was possible - Leicestershire Live

He has the "iconic" Championship title trophy there as described by Sky the other night.

Get him back for the testimonial he deserved

Another small sign of the club losing its identity. Appreciate COVID affected it but to announce there was one and then not do it for the one player who's literally been there at our lowest point in history to the highest, is shambolic.

Are you implying that it's not iconic? It was the First Divsion trophy from 1891 to 1992...

My favourite LCFC player ever, for everything he went through with us and the moments he gave us along the way!

The performances in League One. The heartbreak, managerial upheavals and eventually sweet joy under Pearson the second time out. Winner against F*rest on my birthday. The Great Escape goal. Bagging in the rain on the day we lifted the title.

Also often overlooked, but he was a pillar for a lot of the squad after the helicopter crash too. That was after Puel had frozen him out and marginalised him from the rest of the squad, which speaks volumes about the sort of guy he is.

I love you Kingy - please come back to the club in some capacity one day, you're always welcome here! ❤️

The reception he got this season was so special.

Just a great person around the place. Never caused us any trouble and scored some memorable and vital goals.

Hope he comes back in some capacity.

My favourite player, ever. He made his debut when I was 12 and he left when I was 25.

Mine too. Seems like the most humble and likeable man too. Don't think he fulfilled his potential but what an incredible player and achievements he has had. When he scored against Everton that made me cry because he was the one player who really symbolised the journey we had been on as fans and as a club. There are rightly other players held in higher esteem because of their performances but there's nobody higher in my eyes purely because of everything he represents.

Be really interested to see what he does next. Think he'll be a phenomenal coach given his game intelligence but maybe too nice.

I look forward to all the comments on here from those people who claim profusely that he's not a legend lol
