We sang his name as he warmed up for Bristol City and you could see that he was struggling not to wave back. S'pose it wouldn't have been appropriate but acted proffessional to the end.

Class.

Some absolute belters in here. Scorer of great goals.

That volley against Blackpool is superb on his left foot. In the net before players know he's hit it.

Yeah some amazing goals. Goal against Stevenage my favourite.

Has anyone even met him? I’ve not but I get the impression he would probably be the soundest footballer to meet and would actually give you the time of day.

Been fortunate enough to meet him a few times, top bloke.

One of my fav players ever, the way some of our fans turned on him at end and the way he was pushed by puel was just wrong. Worked in italy and met loads of ultras lads who did the security and was telling them about what king achieved, they said if that had been italy with a club, be banners of him everywhere him and just lauded. Deserves a testimonial at the very least

I have met him at the player of the year awards when I was about 10 and on a training ground tour both times he was one of the nicest and most chatty players happy to answer my numerous and probably very annoying questions.

Yep, met him in Costa, asked for a picture and couldn’t have been nicer. Said we can take more to get the best shot. What a guy

One of my absolute sporting heroes, my first game was in the 03/04 season so too young to catch the success at the tail end of the 90s. Andy King was my favourite ever player and even with the club legends of recent years it is hard for me to elevate anyone higher than King in terms of my love for them. Such a technically gifted player, scored so many incredible goals in a variety of ways and someone who was always destined to make it to the Premier League, even in my dreams I wasn't completely convinced it would be with us.

If I ever have kids then they will hear plenty about the likes of Vardy, Schmeichel and Morgan anyway, but I will make sure to tell them all about Andy King too.

I'm glad to hear the good experiences in this page, I would have been gutted to think he was a tool

Randomly ended up queueing next to him in Asda a couple of days before the Everton trophy lift game. Even though I must have been the millionth person to congratulate him that week, he was still more than happy to chat. Total gent, and a club legend

It's a shame the club continually fails to show an interest in our past players and achievements.

Surely there must be a simple way to recognise past players even a 'Walk' of some kind can't be beyond the abilities of KP to implement without it impacting on their desire for every aspect of the stadium to look like KPFC.

I used to work with someone that met him on holiday and was at the same hotel. They said he was really lovely and pretty much made out they were best pals by the end of the week. Given how annoying I know this person can be and Kingy didn't tell them to bollocks, I've always assumed he has the patience of a saint.

Decent trophy haul to retire with

This is the exact moment Leicester City hero Andy King believed title win was possible - Leicestershire Live

There's a lot of more high profile players who haven't won that hall of Trophies.

Would love to see some form of testimonial / charity match.

Albrighton,  kingy, Schmeichel,  Morgan, Fuchs..

There's so many that deserve the opportunity.

Managed by Sven would be a nice touch.

Pearson team Vs the Ranieri team

45 mins for each side
