Mates lad works in a restaurant down there and Patson turned up for a meal there yesterday. When he told him that his dad was a huge Leicester fan Patson gave him a £50 tip.

Wow that’s as good as done then! #ThankYouPatson

Wasn't he linked to Bournemouth last summer?

Yes. They wanted him but it fell through after Kieffer Moore's move to Millwall collapsed.

Can confirm.

My mate's cousin's brother-in-law sells donkey rides on Bournemouth beach, apparently Patson turned up and hired all of them for the afternoon, but wasn't interested in actually riding them because he felt the practice was "archaic and cruel."

I hear similar, but that daka was employed to give rides himself.

I can picture him slipping over and putting the cash in the wrong outreaching hand.

You'd expect them to have retained an interest. His woes in front of goal are probably more indicative of a lack of form and playing opportunities, something that's troubled a number of strikers who have attempted and failed to dislodge Jamie Vardy as our number one striker since 2016.

His general play has been pretty good though, and he's shown a willingness and ability to adapt quite well to Maresca's style of play. If Vardy were going, I'd back him to get more chances and therefore more time to play himself into better goalscoring form. If Vardy stays, then it might be prudent to take the money and help invest in other, more pressing areas of the pitch and give Cannon a proper shot as Vardy's backup/understudy.
