Popular Post Finnegan Posted 21 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 21 May 2024 Would it be super suspicious if, like, one of Top's friends made a sizable donation to the Mansfield owners' favourite labradoodle's groomer or something and then the Stags mysteriously shattered their transfer record to sign Brunt for £50m? 11

Reminds me of the time I made Chelsea sign Ryan Beswick for 75 million in football manager 2006. 3
FOXYTALK Posted 21 May 2024 Posted 21 May 2024 Sell with a buy back clause if he's turns out to be half decent. 1
Edingleyfox Posted 21 May 2024 Posted 21 May 2024 Pleased to see he has done well with the Stags who had a great season with a decent manager. I’m guessing more like 50 thousand then 50 million though 1

Tommy G Posted 21 May 2024 Posted 21 May 2024 Never heard of him, presume he's bang average if on loan at mansfield?
Stadt Posted 21 May 2024 Posted 21 May 2024 24 this year, his wages are pretty small in the grand scheme of things but we're so bloated as a club. We have to be far leaner (and meaner) as a result. 1

He's 24 now so little chance he will make it here. He's been great for Mansfield, a real mature head and often plays in multiple positions, a class act at League Two level, hopefully he can step up a Division. Stick a 50% sell on clause in.

It's funny because the leaked emails from Man City's dealings are literally exactly this with sponsors. Anything less than relegation for them and it's corrupt as ****.

Red Squirrel Posted 24 May 2024 Posted 24 May 2024 Good luck to the lad, he had a very good season and rewarded with Ligue Un next year.

You have to laugh 1

Lesta2014 Posted 4 June 2024 Posted 4 June 2024 We probably want a few hundred thousand and they are offering 100k?
Aus Fox Posted 4 June 2024 Posted 4 June 2024 The club currently hold his registration card, and will not let him go unless Mansfield stump up £25 to take the card. Sources close to the club inform me The Stags have no interest in a digital registration.

No chance, one good season in the 4th tier and 24 in November, every chance 3rd Tier is his level. He's got interest from Mansfield not from Manchester. As @moore_94 says we should get as much cash as we can for him and make up for the rest with a healthy sell on fee or favourable buy back option. Players of a certain age who have only shown lower league level interest should be sold when offered money for them with additions to make up the short fall in cash. It's highly likely he will never be good enough for a PL or top end Championship club like ours.
