Exactly what we deserve. I would rather have Cooper than Potter any day. Potter is the clean cut well spoken chap that the media love. He is boring and unoriginal. Perfect fit for England. 6

Nolucklcfc Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 Seems whoever we get, not everyone will be happy. But … ole would be a disaster 2
winteriscoming Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 Don’t want Copper or Potter. Moyes would keep us up and that’s the aim.
LCFCJohn Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 Please not OGS. Crap manager and just a complete creep. Would rather Cooper, seems the best realistic option right now! 1

OntarioFox Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 To be perfectly honest, the idea of Cooper coming and keeping us up at F*rest's expense is too good an opportunity to pass up. I'm past the point of feeling embarrassment for our club after how Rodgers tanked us between 21-23, it was so humiliating that nothing will I think ever top it. Only the most delusional amongst us doesn't now acknowledge that survival is the target for the next year or two. I'm already at peace with the possibility of going straight back down, so might as well gamble on the prospect of being able to rub the splinter-dicks' noses in it if we do stay up and they don't.

kingfox Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 OGS was linked around the same time last year, if reports were right last year, then someone at the club really admires him. That someone needs the sack.

He also doesn't play the football Top craves. Bizarre if true.

Gareth Southgate relegated an established premier league Middlesborough. That's his club experience. Potter on the other hand has never been relegated. He took a 4th division side to European football after successive promotions and tussled with far bigger European teams to be knocked out by Arsenal. He did an ok job at Swansea in terms of their final position but it was his transforming of the way they played that got him the job at Brighton after Hughtons sacking. Similarly to Swansea the results weren't a massive upturn but he totally transformed their style of play and in subsequent seasons climbed the table. His Chelsea tenure was pretty shit but I don't see what parallels he shares with Southgate other than being English. 1 1

Chrysalis Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 If we get Ole it will be because we want a yes man so Top can impose style of play and pick the players.
winteriscoming Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 Go get Moyes. Clearly we’re not looking abroad like we should.

alanf0x Posted 8 June 2024 Posted 8 June 2024 Would be interested to know who people actually want (realistic targets) with all of the current targets not up to scratch?!!
