Unless we do it again 2016 will never go stale for me

Me neither. Brought it all back again. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview and found it very interesting . Kasper is such an articulate and intelligent speaker. Good to hear a player not saying “ you know” every 30 seconds. Why wouldn’t he talk about the title winning season? Gary is also a fan and wanted to get a personal feel about it all. Great player for us and sometimes I think he was wrongly criticised for his alleged “power” in the dressing room. We could have done with him last season, on and off the pitch.

He spoke about it a bit last year. Said he had offers from around Europe so asked for a longer contract here and we weren't prepared for give him one. He didn't feel wanted enough so left. He offered to come back too midway through the season and that was turned down.

This is the absolute worst thing for me, how anyone could watch the first half of last season and the World Cup and think Danny Ward was capable is impossible. It was definitely a case of embarrassment and Rodgers not being able to admit he got it wrong

You can really see his genuine love for the club. I recall him mentioning how difficult it was for him to watch us last season.

Absolutely.

Unfortunately, his Father was apparently less fond of certain staff at the club and also moaned about the hospitality at one point.

It's just that Kasper has done a good number of interviews on lots of different platforms addressing the exact same questions (The Great Escape, Pearson, his own career up to Leicester, Sven, his dad and upbringing, the PL win obviously, but within that topic Kanté, Mahrez and Vardy specifically, even Denmark to some extent).

I was surprised Gary couldn't be more original. As an avid follower, surely he wouldve seen at least one or two of those interviews. And to then feel he should repeat the same questions on his own platform feels wasteful. But at least we got to see Gary be a genuine Leicester fan with another club legend.

Proper Leicester fan then.

If Mads leaves I wouldn't mind having Kasper back for one last dance along with Vardy.

If he does well in the Euro Cup I wouldn't mind having him back.

I’d have him back as a coach/player. Third choice GK but within a coaching role. He’s such a huge personality.

he would actually make a good manager when it comes to carrying the respect. But Can a GK be tactically astute?   Will they have the knowledge to break down a defense from an attacking point of view?

Is there any record of GKs being successful managers?

Corberan who is allegedly on our list was a keeper. I get your point though, traditionally hasn’t been a great keeper/great coach record. Perhaps that changes with the role changing so much.

I would absolutely trust Kasper to make us hard to beat.... if anyone can organise a defense, it would be him..

That podcast is class can’t believe I’ve missed that. What’s so telling is that he won’t answer the question about whether we would have won it if Pearson stayed. The reality is we all know 99% not but kasper has so much respect he goes back to the momentum. The fact Pearson hasn’t gone on and built a fantastic premier league side elsewhere does baffle me.
