JimJams Posted 14 June 2024 Posted 14 June 2024 Can't wait for us to announce our new shirt sponsorship with THEREALLYREALCOMPANYHONEST.com bringing in at least.... whatever it is we need to comply with all financial regulations. Conveniently. 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 14 June 2024 Posted 14 June 2024 How on earth have Forest managed to double their money on Mangala to a French club?!?!?
Super_horns Posted 14 June 2024 Posted 14 June 2024 Everton set to be taken over by the Roma owner? Its Everton though - something is bound to go wrong.

Popular Post JimJams Posted 15 June 2024 Popular Post Posted 15 June 2024 Well it's the Roma owner so presumably they'll agree a fee for the sale of Everton and when it comes to put pen to paper they'll say the price is too high and see if they can get it on the cheap. When they can't they'll probably ask if they can rent it for a year first. 5

Given his young age, he’s just made it to a champs league final (where he didn’t shine but that’s great experience) he’s now in the Dutch squad probably a fair price
Super_horns Posted 21 June 2024 Posted 21 June 2024 Olise going to Bayern. Palace will have all summer to get some sort of replacement and keep Eze I guess.
EastAnglianFox Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 Transfer fees are getting wild. Chelsea paying Villa close to 20 million for a kid I’ve never heard of. Omari Kellyman?? Is he worth it anybody that knows of him?

Pretty clear there’s some FFP motives and agreements at play. 1

Popular Post The Bear Posted 22 June 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 June 2024 Yes it's blindingly obvious. That's the authorities fault though, fair play to the clubs for finding a work around on the ridiculous anti-competetive PSR rules. 12
Death by Football Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 I’m stuck somewhere between being sick in my mouth at the state of English football and celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of English teams to completely **** with the rules. 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 22 June 2024 Posted 22 June 2024 Absolutely fkin stinks. This needs investigation and fast, particularly the transfers between Villa and Chelsea. 2

If Leicester sold Ben Nelson and Will Alves for £15 million each right now you would wonder what is going on. Leaving aside the fact that Academy players should be the future of the club, now reduced to bring the most profitable assets, they are just not worth that money. Also, they should not have the burden of the price tag over them at that age and experience. The whole thing is ridiculous.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 June 2024 Posted 23 June 2024 How do we get in on this money laundering project
filbertway Posted 23 June 2024 Posted 23 June 2024 Genius, I think all the clubs should pair up and do this. We sign a couple of players from Southampton for £30 million and they sign a couple of our unknowns for £30 million. Basically force the Premier league to accept that their rules are silly. I'm not against having teams run sustainably, but the current system is just so stupid and I don't really understand how they didn't envisage this happening down the road. 1

In KDH we have an academy product, who says he wants to stay (I do believe him fwiw but talk is cheap and we've heard it from other players before) yet we might be forced to sell him to comply with Profit and Sustainability rules. How is that sustainable?
Dan Posted 23 June 2024 Posted 23 June 2024 These transfers just sum up again what a mess things actually are. Young players pawns in the game to avoid the stupid rules. If the rules incentivise clubs trading young players then the rules are wrong, as simple as that. Predictably though we will not be involved at all and will cost ourselves.
